[ISSUE] I will likely not get enough Jubilee Confetti for mount

I collected 6 of the Jubilee Confetti up to today. I can buy 1 Jubilee Confetti additionally every day for the event tickets.

As it looks now I may not be online from May April 18th. So I've counted that I can obtain 16 Jubilee Confetti up to then bringing me to 22 Jubilee Confetti which is not enough for the mount. What can I do?

Or use crowns, buy tickets, then spend tickets on the confetti drops at the impressario. Crowns are on sale right now after all.

Jubilee is over after April 23, did you mix up months?

Yes, mixed it up. I meant April

I am not overly happy to have to buy something that is free for everybody else without this time issue :(

There was a thread about this earlier. They basically told us that we would have to spend tickets to get the mount in the preview article. Not an issue, this is how it was intended to be.

I’m in a similar boat. Have a trip April 19th - 22nd so while I can get tickets Friday before I leave and late Monday when I return, I’ll 100% miss 2 days. Plus having the cake slices to buy for the achievement (did that already), it’s definitely frustrating.

It’s also what makes the poor RNG on the style page drops frustrating as well. There’s only X amount of time to hope you get lucky, even less if, God forbid, you have to miss a few days because the real world exists. And you can’t even sacrifice event tickets to get them.

Yes, easily. Do things the same way they have done every other event: make it so that the event has extra tickets after you've obtained everything. And make the items tradeable.

As someone who has been in the same situation as the OP many times that's exactly what I was going to suggest.

It's a standard part of planning for pretty much any activity which isn't mandatory - you can't predict other people's availability and you can't expect them to schedule their life around an optional activity so you allow more time than it should take.

Recently at work I sent a survey to a bunch of community groups. I expected each one to need about 2 weeks to gather the data and submit their answers, so we scheduled 6 weeks for the whole process to allow for the fact that we don't know their timetables and to allow for problems along the way.

This. Honestly the horse requiring more fragments than we could obtain even playing every single day was always a…weird choice for the Anniversary. The grinding for style pages I could kind of see as a misguided attempt to keep people engaged longer, but this seems like ZOS is trying to get people to skip it.

Yeah, I feel for the OP.

I am on vacation on a cruise ship currently. Needless to say the internet is not great, but I can at least (with some difficulty) log in each day to do a writ for a gold box, and eat cake. But farming for the other world drops is an absolute no-go.

People have real lives, and this event feels like a “have to log in everyday or else” type of event that they never really did before. I think it could have been handled better.

From now forward, the logical thing to do is do your best to end the event with 12 tickets. The only time lately I haven't been able to do that was Jesters - because a swap to a new machine from my 9 year old antique was NOT simple at all, and I wasn't able to log in for the last 5 days of the event. So no Dawnwood Indrik until next year....

Of course that's going to be problematic if you really want all the morph stuff (the only morphables I have ever been interested in are the indriks - everything since then is just SO not my thing).

ive been ending events with 10-12 tickets for like 2 years now, i started doing this towards the end of when the indriks were first introduced lol

usually allows buying the new 10 ticket fragment for the morphable, and then i can mostly use the rest of the tickets to get new stuff specific to that event, or if im missing past event stuff

You get a confetti every day from the golden coffer, leaving you with I think 6 to buy for 3 tickets each, or about a third of the tickets you earn simply by logging in and having a slice of cake. No need to buy tickets!

If you can't log in for part of the event, you won't have enough free fragments or enough earned tickets to complete the mount. That's OP's situation.

I believe the event is 20 days long.

    That is sixty tickets total.

25 confetti needed for the horse. So 5 confetti (15 tickets) needed to complete the horse.

For every day lost, you get three less tickets AND you have to buy an extra confetti.

So just missing two days, your total tickets goes to 54, but you have to buy 2 more confetti, so you again lose 6 more tickets. And keep in mind maybe you also want to buy other things on the vendor like the 2 items for the new personality (etc) losing days quickly can get out of hand as it is a cascading issue.

They could have just made the horse 18 confetti and that would have fixed a ton of issues.

Hmmm, I did not read the post closely enough… I guess the OP spent the first several day’s tickets on other things like the Cake Devourer perhaps, understandable.

If it will be truly impossible to log in, then I would not buy any confetti because we don’t know whether there will ever be a chance to complete the collection (for most morphs, yes, but anniversary seems to be its own thing with never to be obtained again collectibles — sorry!)

They intentionally make more things available than you could get with all the tickets. They have always done this.
Because they want you to buy crowns, of course. It's a business, folks.

That's why they brought back the Indrik mounts, the Deadlands Skin, the Doomchar Plateau house last events etc. You aren't intended to be able to get it all.

Or, you just have to make choices. Seems everybody wants everything, all the time, and they want ZoS to have insight into their offline lives and habits as well. Not going to happen, of course, and personally I think it's unreasonable to always expect them to cater to all the possibilities of peoples play habits and personal agendas. But that's just my opinion.

The two fragments for the personality will be available for the next event as well.. at 10 tickets each, consider skipping one of those this time around - or even both.

I would agree that it would have been nice if the mount was less tickets to make it more attainable. But I totally get why it is the way it is. There were a few other things I wanted to get this round but will skip and hope to get them later.

Honestly, you can't do things the way everyone is happy.
For a reward that requires you to basically log in almost every day, you can't expect to receive the reward if you are not doing so. However, there even *is* the option to buy the tickets with crowns (which I don't like or would do - but it *is* an option for those who are not able to play most of the days).

Sorry but that is a bit like telling your kids in christmas season preparation:

if you help baking these cookies during each day of preparation you get an extra reward for free.

To your kid that is sick and cannot help you say: I am soooo sorry, you cannot get the extra reward for free because you missed out baking the cookies each day. But you can pay for each missed day with your pocket money.

Don't expect your sick kid to be grateful or happy.

Even if they did drop it down to sway, 18 or 20, there'd still be people that couldn't get it and thus be unhappy.
