I've only had this Khajiit baker for less than a day, but if anything happened to him, I would pie everyone in the room and then probably kill everyone just for good measure.

✭✭✭✭✭Was a bummer that they deleted Chef Donolon. It effectively blocked everyone from getting the 2016 cake with a quest voucher. But it worked.

He's not stated to be dead, so there's always a possibility that he will return in the future and we can have a father-son duo questgivers for this event.

I thought it was a weird decision to just not even mention why he's gone, unless I missed that. But I looked at the voice actor, seemed pretty busy, still feels off not having him.0 -

BenTSG✭✭✭✭I was surprised to see a Khajiit instead of the usual Donolon, but I do really like Mogh! I like to imagine that while it might seem odd Donolon isn't here for the 10th year, he's passing it down to Mogh to carry the mantle the rest of the way2 -

It's the ultimate dragon break. Perhaps he actually survived the Romulan attack, and was teleported to Tamriel, where he was magically (or surgically) transformed into a Khajiit. Maybe Donolon was actually his Klingon guardian in disguise.

I was surprised I did not catch the reference since I’m a big Star Trek fan, but when I looked it up I saw it was from ST:TNG so I think I can be forgiven.

I think it's cool that ESO is giving a shout out to Star Trek. Probably plenty of Trekkies in the gaming industry. You know it had to be intentional, because it's standard practice to research potential names for copyright infringement, and there are plagiarism checking apps that writers use all the time.
Since he's already talking about his father, It will be awesome if Apprentice Mogh mentions his son at some point in the future!
