For the jewls crafting but after that 2nd would be Blackwood/Deadlands/Fargrave combo - dis those all come together as a chapter?

Yeah, jewelry crafting is a good point for sure to justify giving away Summerset. Everyone should have access to jewelry crafting with any edition of the game players might purchase.

Well, I wouldn't mind getting "Thieves Guild" and "Dark Brotherhood" considering both guilds are a staple in TES games. And they are rather old DLC as well...

Orsinium is a chapter in all but name, being the first big dlc to drop.

It shares many of the features a chapter would otherwise include, and is a similar sized zone.
Museum quest, 2 public dungeons, new arena, etc.

It's assumed ZoS changed the model after orsinium, making future "big dlcs" chapters instead.
174 characters and counting over 13 accounts.

120 writ certified. 73 at CP rank.

Dark Brotherhood dlc is the one that i would choose. A way to play the game by yourself, earn gold and experience points, and have the freedom of choosing not to rely on level, gear, and skill. And you can do this without an end or cooldown of any kind.

What more could a casual player ask for?

Most of the ones on the list are chapters and I think it's very unlikely they'd be given away free. The nearest we'll get to that is what's already happened where they're bundled with other purchases for new players.

I also didn't vote because I've already bought all the DLCs and all the chapters I want (the zone ones). Maybe it would be nice to get some of the dungeon DLCs which tie into chapter stories free. I don't buy them because I don't play dungeons often enough that it's worth paying for more. But I know a lot of subscribers keep asking for a way to exclude DLC dungeons from the dungeon finder, so since they're very short (compared to a chapter) and I have no reason to go back once I've done the quest maybe it would be better to stick to subscribing for the rare occasions I want to do one.

ok so when a Chapter is released it is released with all it parts and it remains a chapter until the next chapter is released at which time it then becomes a dlc and it's parts are divided up. A chapter can be included with the deluxe purchase that includes all previos chapters but if you dont buy the deluxe edition you get only that most recent chapter. Also when chapters get divided up you cant but them separately with money outside of the game except as noted above so you have to buy the parts separately in the crown store. for example if morrowind werent part of the base game now and you wished to buy the morrowind dlc you's get it from the crown store and you's have to buy warden separately from the crown store. the morrowind chapter is of course now part of the base game but the sample example serves for all other chapters that become dlc's and have their parts divided up in the crown store for purchase.

Not everyone is allowed to buy ESO+ at the moment, due to sanctions and political shenanigans. We have some in our guild.

And I was pleased to pick up new stuff from achievements I have already done.

Orisinium is one of if not the oldest expansion. It's also the biggest and best expansion ever released in my opinion, so I think Orsinium was a good selection to give away for free. I'm a bit peeved about the "free" rewards they linked to Orsinium achievements, but hey, they are free and if we want them we can play the zone until we get the achievements.

Well, has to be before April 1 2024 I think?

This now leaves Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood as the only non-free DLC that predate Morrowind, which is now free.

To be honest, Thieves and DB should always have been base-game *anyway*. There's even a CP star in the base game that refers to the Blade of Woe, which you can't get without the DB DLC.

The only chapter feature Orsinium didn't have was a new game mechanic (new class, jewelry crafting, antiquities, companions, Tales of Tribute). Orsinium was, in hindsight, the proto-chapter.

Something new I would have preferred, since all this time I have supported my favorite game by buying all the chapters and DLC areas, on all three accounts that all have ESO+. A few years ago I stopped buying the dungeons, I hardly ever do dungeons now and they did not seem worth the expense.

I do not mind them providing something good for those who do not have Orsinium for their alt accounts or the few who never had it at all. I just wish they had tested the daily reward to make sure it actually worked, rather than getting something I already had causing such stress for 2 days trying to actually get it collected and then costing rewards from another day as well. Maybe they should in future just stick to giving us such goodies for free in the crown store.

I think they should keep doing these for the very under populated and used expansion zones.
Which means they should NOT give us:
      Summerset
      North or South Elysweyr
      Vvardnefel
      Blackwood

The life that has returned to Wrothgar is awesome. The other zones that are completely dead now are:
Fargrave & Deadlands, Murkmire, Western Skyrim

We need a reason to return.

Well, let's be honest... while Western Skyrim was still better than High Isle (although virtually everything is better than High Isle), it was far from great. The plot was uninteresting and the quality of writing for both quests and dialog in general was in decline.
I basically enter Western Skyrim only for skyshards and/or Stuhn's Favor crafting and I'm normally a huge fan of everything Nord/Skyrim related.

Reminded me how they've told that it would be political intrigue... That I probably missed entirely while 100% it. Same as they've told how they heard us on year long stories, while giving us a... Two year (hopefully just two???) story? Yeah.

I am happy with Orsinium. It's a great story, and will give many players access to Maelstrom Arena. IC & Morrowind became free so it was about time. I think I would have chosen Thieves Guild & Dark Brotherhood though just for alts to be able to use thieves troves and blade of woe.

I already have all the chapter zones, and Deadlands and Firesong as freebies. Also I somehow own Clockwork City. Don't think they will ever give away Summerset, but I could see jewelry crafting being added to base game someday maybe
