Daily Endeavor - Stealing 200 items would be better than stealing 2 blue ones!

My character that is higher up in the Thieves Guild finds way more blue items than my other characters, especially when pickpocketing.

I think today's daily endeavors were fine.

I have Necrom chapter. Azander is unlocked and fully leveled on one alt, so I get the Research Portfolio (blue item) benefit on every alt. I took an alt that needs to finish leveling Legerdemain to Necrom, went in the underways, did one pass down one side of corridor looting the urns, and back up the other side of the corridor looting the urns. No NPC are in that corridor, so no sneaking required. Along the way I got 2 Research Portfolio, so that daily endeavor was done. Then, I went into the entrance to the Outlaw Refuge, which is in that corridor, and gained Legerdemain by selling/laundering everything I just stole.

Separately, the destroy 1 dark anchor (dolmen) was easy. And craft 5 items with enchanting was easy.

There were folks in zone chat on PS/NA asking for others to group with them and duel, and I believe the complete 2 duels went quickly for them, also. It is pretty fast to lose a duel if you remove all your armor and jewelry.

lockboxes are my go to for higher rarity items

they guarantee at least a green or higher and ive gotten sometimes 2 blues from a single lockbox

Thieves Troves, Safeboxes, and Pickpocketing all count for this, and are usually much better sources of blue-or-better items than looting other containers is.

Safebox in Riften Bank, always a Master Chest, behind a screen, Guard doesn't see you even when just the other side of the screen, no need to even crouch....

Same box, on three accounts, each account hit lucky with two blue items!

Failing that Redfur Trading post has quite a few safeboxes and isn't usually busy. 🙂

I pickpocketed an NPC in Alinor and got one blue item. Then I blade of woe'd him and got the second. The whole thing took less than a minute.

Just go to Necrom underways and keep looting those urns. The Azandar's portfolios will be plenty in one pass through the path. No need to hide either.

Can't you just steal some weapons and armour, upgrade them to blue then fence them or is it detecting completion the moment you loot the item?

i think in this case it has to be at time of looting

that trick only works with embers achievement because she just needs you to have an item marked as stolen that is purple quality

Uh, no, it absolutely wouldn't.

Get out Azander (or don't, if you have his perk), go to Necrom, loot containers. Boom, 5 minutes and done.

I fimd it good to have a character available to steal 2 things from Kari's Hit List for tbis endeavor rather than fight people in Bal Foyen craftng area

Summerset is busy, but far better IMHO. Unless you meant for stealing, not crafting.

It is at the time of looting, not selling/laundering for this one.

Necrom urns are good, I get blue provisioning and furnishing plans more often than blue stolen items, don’t forget those. I didn’t even have Azandar out and I got this one in less than 5 minutes.

Got two maps in the first thieves trove I opened. That's my go-to for this endeavour.

I was referring to the large number of safeboxes there in Bal Foyen, there's often people doing loops. I prefer Leyawiin or Vivec myself over Summerset, for crafting and stealing

Doing 2 items from the hit list on alts will run out eventually, but don't think the endeavor comes around too often for it to be an issue for a long long time

i would think this would be the easiest lol

as long as you did not complete this quest or turn items in

you could loot the item, destroy it, and loot it again (as it respawns in the original location if you remove it from your inventory)

Trying to get them from normal stolen loot can easily take that or more.

Though leveling Legendermain (sp?) does take quite a bit of items.

It takes like under a minute per duel. You don't even have to win, so let someone pound you to death while standing beside a wayshrine. I mention the wayshrine since you can choose to revive using the wayshrine so you don't need to spend a soul gem. You don't even suffer gear damage because it's damage from another player.

It's unbelievable the amount of things people find to complain about to complete something so simple.

I mention the wayshrine since you can choose to revive using the wayshrine so you don't need to spend a soul gem. You don't even suffer gear damage because it's damage from another player.

It is amazing that some people won't allow others to post on something they don't like.

I was just commenting, not even asking for a change, just noting the difficulty of doing it the way I had been. I did hit a few safeboxes on the characters I have maxed Leg. and it went much quicker.

Why does that bother you?

Blue items count the ones you find in Thieves Guild boxes (the blue glowing ones). And usually you get 1 treasure map or blue gear and 1 edict. Which both count as 2.

Someone suggested you weren't allowed to post on something you don't like? Is this then leading to a person isn't allowed to comment and offer a different perspective on what was posted?

I doesn't bother me lol. I dueled. Someone in Zone asked to do so, so I took them up on it. I probably had in mind to hit a "theft" route with tons of containers I could steal from and knocked that out rather quickly. I didn't sweat it either way. You're more than welcome to avoid simple, easy things to accomplish completing your Endeavors just as much as I am welcome to avail myself of those same, simple, easy things. I just see it as creating an issue where in a practical sense it's only self-imposed.

When a player gives feedback on something they don't enjoy their opinion is often challenged. I'm not sure why this happens, but it does.

I personally like this endeavor but I respect that others may not for their own valid reasons.

This slotable might improve the chances when pickpocketing:
Cutpurse's Art (green cp tree) - Increases the chance to get higher-quality loot when pickpocketing.

That was my point. The clear indication of their reply was that I was only a "complainer" for my post.

Though I did get the result of realizing I need to look for safeboxes on my maxed main stealer.

I may argue against what someone says in a post, but I do not (or should not if I ever did) claim they shouldn't post.

I would rather loot the safeboxes, but that is an idea.
