I was thinking the opposite - that her aesthetic was too close to Jyggalag.

I am sure her appearance is that way to attract young male Daedra to her. Build a following fast.

Seriously? A completely blank slate, and THAT was chosen? So disappointing. Khajiit should be happy perhaps. At least she's not "Like BLONDE, oh my god BECKY!, whatEVER. Totally!"

Yeah, she just looks like the average young human woman.I am sure her appearance is that way to attract young male Daedra to her. Build a following fast.
I thought the glittery rainbow shards (even shaped like angel wings) might be a bit off-putting to most Daedra. Yes, I know, Daedric things don't neccessarily have to look dark and spiky, but even Meridia has a more "serious" tone to her.Elvenheart wrote: »At least one of my characters will be pledging themselves to Ithelia
I feel a bit sorry for them. Chances are high that at the end of the chapter, they've forgotten whom they've been worshipping.

Yeah, right? I would have wished for a more otherworldly, "alien" look. They could have even made use of the glass theme (I'm fine with that, Jyggalag's was not glass, but crystals - close, but not identical), by making her body and facial features actually look like being made from glass, with all kinds of sharp edges and a slight icy transparency.

Most Deadric Princes choose to appear as a form that can appeal or be understood by mortals when interacting with them. Its why 80% of them just appear as a simple humanoid figure, its not just females.
Sheogorath, Hircine, Clavicus, Nocturnal, Meridia, Azura, Boethiah...

Nocturnal is literally a beautiful woman. Peryite is a dragon. Herma mora is an eyeball with tentacles.
Sheo is a man, hircine is a man with a deer helmet(the graht oak, cause he hates yffre for stealing nirni) boethia is a person in armor, heck, half of clavicus is a dog.
I think she looks fine and her aesthetic reminds me of Tho'at replicanum. Who I theorize was one of her daedra.
Anyways. Her look is fine. That's just how your mortal eyes perceive ithelia. Daedric princes are any shape they wish to present as.

I would like to expand this one by a mention that we do not know how a daedric prince "just got forgotten" so her appearance may be tied to that.

It's likely misdirection, by design.
