MOST people just open their mail and grab whatever items are inside. RARELY do people actually read the mail. Unfortunately some of us that didn't like our characters within the first 5 mins deleted the character to remake him/her after we had accepted the pre order items. Obviously a lot of people are pissed off about this because I'm seeing pop ups about "DO NOT DELETE YOUR CHARACTER TILL YOU FIND A BANK!" when I start the game up. WHERE IN THE HELL IS THERE A BANK IN THE PRISON I START IN?!?!?!?! THERE IS NO BANK...ITS A PRISON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is EXACTLY why successful companies like Blizzard put preorder/store bought items on every character. Items you give us should be distributed to EVERY SINGLE NEW CHARACTER WE MAKE ON THE ACCOUNT! That is not just good customer service...it is common sense. Telling us to go find a bank and that every character we play on has to go to the bank to get out the pets/rings/items then put them back in the bank before we switch characters again is not only annoying...it is RIDICULOUS! I had 5 day early access...I sent in my request to have the items restored within the first 5 mins I could log into the game and Ive yet to see a reply.

Vlas✭✭✭Well, that was the standard for other MMOs to have em on all accounts, but they will be giving back your stuff. They are just trying to figure out a way to handle this unexpected issue.

Do the items really matter that much? Honestly 90% of people pre-ordered the imperial edition just for the 1g mount and the imperial race line. A few treasure maps and a mud crab isn't really worth all the commotion going on.1 -

I created my first character then created 7 other characters all with the names I wanted to reserve....THEN (now here's where it gets real tricky)....I log back onto the FIRST character I made with no additional slots left. I would use crayons to draw you a picture of what happens next but it might make your head explode.0 -

I'm fairly certain the Imperial race will be a purchasable upgrade from the cash shop eventually.1 -

I dont know what you talking about , quite sure the devs they will add the upgrade standart to DDE in the shop :P.

Jeralrik✭✭✭In SWTOR each race had to be level 50 before you could unlock it to play as say a Sith playing as a Smuggler on Republic side in your Legacy. Then the game went F2P and suddenly you were able to purchase these race's without having to level them to play else where.
