Maintenance for the week of September 22:
· [COMPLETE] NA megaservers for maintenance – September 22, 4:00AM EDT (8:00 UTC) - 10:00AM EDT (14:00 UTC)
· [COMPLETE] EU megaservers for maintenance – September 22, 8:00 UTC (4:00AM EDT) - 14:00 UTC (10:00AM EDT)

The new class sets need a lot of work (many need a complete redesign from scratch).

    Greetings,

This thread has been moved to the Combat & Character Mechanics section, as it is better suited there.

    Thank you for your understanding.

I want to post an update to the ratings of these sets now that we have more information regarding the sets and (non) changes to classes for this patch.

Sorc set - still the same, still a D tier proc set that's worse than the rest of them. (I don't know why ZOS is so intent on keeping lightning theme so pathetically weak compared to fire and frost when it comes to sets and secondary effects).

DK set - still the same, still an S+ tier set for an already overtuned class that didn't need it and still an F-tier idea for balance.

NB set - reduced slightly to A- tier. its still a strong set that gives a potentially game breaking amount of power under the right circumstances, but it looks wonky to use efficiently on most builds. It does however bring back the option to look at the long forgotten range blade builds with swallow soul, so there is that going for it which is partly why it hasn't dropped further down.

Necro set - reduced to D tier, this set had so much potential as a niche option if it could work with the tethers, but that has been specifically stated as not how it will function so it is reduced accordingly...

Warden set - remains the same, its still a good support set, but wardens did not need help in being better supports.

Plar set - reduced to C tier. I still like the idea behind it of buffing plars damage and sustain for mobile fights, but this set fails to capture that effectively and efficiently while having far too harsh of a downside.

Arcanist set - remains the same, not a needed set, but not a bad set either.

the part with necro tethers not working with the self corpse is a bug, its even listed in the "known issues" section of the PTS patch notes

I don't really have any faith in it being fixed before release if I'm being brutally honest.

yeah no idea when its going to be fixed lol, was merely pointing out that it is a bug and not intended functionality

the other class sets with notable problems were the sorc and NB one (the sorc set is sometimes not correctly dmging enemies, and the NB one the siphon ultimate is not being buffed by the class set along with bugging the ultimate counter, at least according to the PTS notes)

DKs were long overdue for a significant buff set, especially one that directly improves their use of lackluster ultimates like Corrosive and Leap.

Finally, ZOS pays attention and gets it!

I just think they want everyone to play DK and nothing else.
