We’ve all seen people respond with “fix the bugs, fix the servers, fix cyrodiil.” I’m talking about NEW stuff - frankly stuff that’s actually a possibility at this point 😅. What are some of your ideas? Not necessarily QOL stuff, but systems as big as the endless dungeon coming in Q4.

    I am still playing and will probably play, but complete overhaul on gathering and adding some gathering related tools and passive skills would excite me.

    the 2 biggest "wants" for change for me is
    • option for fishing to automatically reel in, i do not enjoy this pointless waiting game on what is basically a material harvest node, and a change like this would actually make me fish more
    • add some way to fast track or skip the companion intro quests, so i can use a *** acct unlock with all of my characters without rerunning the same quest ad nauseum

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    Recycling of older lootcrates into the game as earnable rewards. The pile of different lootcrates is getting bigger by the year and in comparison to the amount of things to earn ingame is getting ridiculous. Also it would mean the devs don't have to work their asses off on creating 100000 new assets and can still focus on the cool new things. Sure they might look a bit low ress sometimes compared to the newest art the devs put out these days, but this way more players can enjoy all those cosmetics. it would be a win win in my book.

    Hireling emails for jewelry (I posted about this in another thread): it would make jewelry crafting a lot easier in general.

    Currently, my ESO playing is in "maintenance mode" because I got a bit sick of trying to find jewelry materials all the time: I login daily to do about 10 minutes worth of activities, then logout and play another game.

    i really want an option to hide hip stuff, an option to hide loincloths,

    some sliders for brightness and the speed of the flashing of skills,

    and an option to hide mount effects, like from summoning the mount or clicking on jump to make a wolf howl or cat roar as some hurt(harrowstorm bear lightning and the huge spirit queen welwa summon are examples).

    I would add a passive skills to crafting skill lines which increases the chance of getting housing materials from respective nodes. Another passive for respective skill lines which also allows players to get Heartwood, Regulus and Ochre from refining raw materials.

    For gathering tools they can be treated as account wide upgrades so we do not need chase gathering tools for each character we have. These tools can grant increased yield chances, increased gathering speed and a few other bonuses like granting slight movement speed bonus after collecting a resource node. Maybe adding some sort of reduced radius of Aggression from mobs after collecting a node.

    ALL of the activities in the game being soloable, from beginning to the end. Pve, pvp, everything.

    In terms of playing this game, or any game for that matter, the last thing that i want to do is needing another human player for any reason.

    No more needing a third party program such as Discord, or a team of players with coordination, tactics, strategy, and communication in mind, just to do the Trials for example.

    Even the pvp could have an "AI teammate and enemy only" option.

    A single player approach, to an mmorpg. Before anything else, this is what i want.

    Ooh yes, more pvpve with the same sort of risk vs reward as IC, only with more varied rewards.. and tradeable, sellable rewards. Something akin to champion spawns from Ultima Online would be just perfect.

    A more difficult overland. Have an option somewhere/somehow to choose which overland you want, vet or normal. This would make me go back thru old content and sub again.

    For the same reason I play this MMO - because (unlike the single player games) the world is NOT static. That's the only thing MMOs are good for.

    I want a furnture crafting station. One where I can see every furnishing I can make at one spot, rather than having to run to woodworking then clothing then enchanting just to look for a bed I want to make.

    And PLEASE put the furnishings in sub categories at the crafting stations, like we have when placing furnishings in our houses, rather than all the items in a jumbled mess under the main category. For example, for Parlor give us subcategories for Tapestries, Carpets, Tea Tables, Banners etc.. It's a real mess if we know a lot of patterns to find anything.

    Me want 'Transform Weapon' system .
    exemple: Transform default bow to a crossbow with different passive, abilities aND ultimate (so I can finally Front bar a Ranged wehpon as stamina plez, thenkyu). :D

    What would excite me are some things:

    1: Raidfinder. To quickly find and complete raids. This would open up a part of the game many players do not(or can't) take part in.

    2: Pet leveling/evolution. As a huge fan of the pokemon games(yes I'm weird that way) and the MMO Rappelz, both games where we catch, level, and evolve pets/creatures. I would love to have something like this in-game. Doesn't even have to be versus other players, but more like growing and evolving PvE companions. (ofcourse pet battles could also be a part of this)

    3: Companion dungeonqueueing. Being able to queue up for a random dungeon with three of my own companions.

    4: Rebirth, available only at level 50. Where we can rebirth our character as level one(we keep our skillpoints and quest progress) and are allowed to choose one skillline from another class to add to our own base three skilllines. We can rebirth as often as we want, to change the skillline we choose(or just for fun). This would both keep the game fresh, as we can re-level the same character as often as we want. And it would keep the game's balance always shifting/fresh, as there would be so many skillline combo's possible.

    Just my thoughts.

    This one would request a better weather system. Do'Roukah finds the current rain wimpy, and uninspired.

    New weapons would be good. Spears, Unarmed, grimiores (more debuff and CC focused magic weapon.)

    Randomly generated quests from npcs that wander around all zones. The adventure would never end! And sure, they would probably be worse than regular quests but it would give a reason to go back to old zones and play in them still (Aside from daily quests). They could have new zone specific rewards attached to em too.

    Bard class. Dirge skill line focused on debuffs and CC. Anthem skill line focused on buffs and healing. Dueling skill line focused on single target damage, taunts and counters. Counters being a new type of skill that only activate (After you've pressed the button ofc) on an enemy hitting you.

    Hunting and Tracking system/skill line. It'd be cool to hunt down great beasts in the open world. There's already a trophy system so you could just expand that and boom, you have your rewards for doing it. Plus, who doesn't love a good boss fight?

    There's more i could think of but that's a good start i think.

    1. More branching quest chains based on the players choices. Quests are one of the main things I want to do in this game and having more variety based on choices would give me more incentive to do them multiple times.

    2. A looking for group tool that lets you choose groups for any activity - not just dungeons and trials. I'm thinking something where someone could advertise that they want help with a group boss, or they're going to farm dolmens or anything at all and players can choose to join them. (It's important that you choose the group to join, it would be useless if it just dumps you into a random group in whichever area of the game you choose like the dungeon finder does.)

    12v12 battlegrounds. The current AvAvA system works well for cyrodiil but not for battlegrounds. They need 4v4 or 12v12 deathmatch etc.
