Make Sorcerer and Warden Pets Resummon when Resurrecting

I recently rolled a Sorcerer that uses pets and have noticed that when my character resurrects my pets do not. This is especially noticable in dungeons if I am resurrected during a boss fight, then have to take valuable time to resummon them.

Companions resurrect with the player so I believe that pets should, also.

    I agree

While this is not a big issue, it bothers me as well.
Sometime, I even forget to resummon them, and it throws my rotation off when I try to use their skills.

Can we include warden bear too? Or remove cast time on pet summons. Bear is incredibly annoying to summon mid combat… takes a pretty long channel. Maybe a bit shorter than both sorc pets combined.

I hadn't thought about the Warden bear because I have never played a Warden, but I added them to the subject line to include them.

    Awesome, thanks!

It would be nice if Necromancers had permanent pets like Wardens and Sorcerers do, you know? But, I digress — I support this automatic pet resurrection idea. Pack Leader werewolves already have their dire wolf pets resurrect whenever the player resurrects, so it makes sense to apply this principle to the other pets to standardize it.

I feel like most of the people are just burned-out out on the game when I see a post like this. There is supposed to be draw back to getting killed. But what's after this?

    1. Resurrection with limited resources, inconvenient in the middle of a fight right? Let's do away with this.
    2. Armor degradation after a death, inconvenient if it happens too much while in combat so let's do away with this.
    3. Not getting Resurrection during combat because no one will in pugs or can in a too difficult setting, this is inconvenient during combat let's do away with death.

I am the opposite of burned out. I have only been running dungeons, both normal and veteran, for a few months now and these are a new source of fun for me.

Having our pets res when we do is not a precursor to removing any death drawbacks. We still need to be ressed if in combat on a boss and still suffer damage to our gear. But since our Companions res when we do so why should our pets be any different?

The way i see it, you summoned some daedra, when you die the summons breaks so you need to do your summoning again. As a pet sorc player i prioritise getting my healy bird back, the scamp when i have a space to do so

I would agree if the Sorcerer and Warden pets behaved like the Necromancer's minion that times out and always needs to be resummoned. But they are more like Companions that stay with us until we unsummon them.

They arent the same though.sorc pets are summoned from another plane with a spell, a companio is a person that lives in Tamriel. You die and the spell breaks. I guess your companion could wander off to the pub if you die, but they wouldnt be much of a companion if they thought that little of you. Companions do walk off if your favour is incredibly low

I think this is an issue where it would be great in PVE but would be toxic as heck in PVP.

And please make them immortal outside of pvp. At this point they are pratically immortal but some aoe can prevent them from working in some rare circumstances.

There is plenty of time to rez the sorc pets, even in vMA which I did today on my Oakensorc.

They should despawn when not in combat, after maybe 5 mins or so. Too many people never put them away in towns and banks.

    EDIT: typo
