Does ESO ignore Bosmer and Redguard?

Lore wise, Redguards make up for their lack of magic with impressive technology and ability to efficiently organize to accomplish huge tasks. That ESO doesn't portray them as having some post renaissance or even early enlightenment technology is a huge missed opportunity.

I'd like to see a "steampunk" Redguard chapter. I think it would fit the world, and it's something cool Redguard's can have.

I would probably go for that myself! Redguards are my favorite race - I love to play them.

For the housing folks, there have been no new furnishings in ages related to Bosmer and the ones they do have don't look particularly nice. Redguard is a bit better in this regard. There also hasn't been a new Bosmer themed house in the game since Housing was released other than the release homes.

Both just need a total rework/revert to their passives. Redguard has some nice sustain for stamina characters but they're generally pretty weak as a DPS because the only additional damage they get is the 2000 Stamina. Their passives also aren't hybridised so they are totally useless for any Magicka roles.

Bosmer also get the 2000 stamina, which again is not hybridised and some additional penetration which is basically wasted in organised PvE groups but I suppose they outperform Redguard slightly in 4 man or solo arenas in some situations. They also got their Stealth reworked ages ago which nobody asked for and ruined their identity alongside conflicting with the lore. These two races have almost zero flexibility in their roles alongside being generally the weakest options. All the other classes have something else in their kits to suit both Magicka and Stamina roles, Bosmer and Redguard have nothing.

This game has no Bosmer. Not since update 21, which was when all Bosmer died and were replaced by things. Things that looked like Bosmer but aren't.

I got my fill of Bosmer in the AD zones. While I wouldn’t mind a Bosmer chapter some time in the future if it related to Falinesti. However, I’d only like that because I’d get to find out what happened, most likely travel to another plane of existence to find it and see Imga.

As for Redguard, they are interesting… maybe we can get some follow up to what happened to Sai Sahan since he figured out how to activate being a sword singer.

Lastly, in terms of racial passives I don’t pay much attention to those really. I have a Bosmer but his back story is that he is actually an Ohmes (Khajiit race that looks like a Bosmer). I’m not much into min maxing so I just choose whatever race fits the back story I thought up.
