Are we still due to get the Nerf of Zenithar event?

I'd just like to know how these group boss kill quests are relevant to this event? It has nothing to do with the lore regarding Zenithar: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Zenithar

I agree with the other posters above: this event should be re-focused back to rewarding crafters and traders.

Has anyone confirmed the double crafting inspiration for this event yet? I've been creating enchanting glyphs on my main char, then deconstructing them using the alts, and I'm hoping that the double inspiration applies to that, because it will level up my alts in enchanting twice as fast.

I'm not really tracking closely, but the few intricate things I deconned today after the event started gave a lot of inspiration and double doesn't seem unreasonable.

Thanks. The event page says

Crafting inspiration gain from all sources is increased by 100%

so I was counting on that, because my 7 new alt crafters still have a long way to go.

Can no longer do crafting writs for boxes( beyond one). You can still get multiple boxes but from overworld. This event was pretty much in the same format since it started. now, for no reason, no explanation, it requires changing.

I swear, anything players actually like seems like something they need to 'fix'. Their conscious objection to people liking things in the game, seems directly at odds with the fact people play games to have fun, and this is their business.

I can't think of a better way to tell players that what they enjoy does not matter.

It was pretty much a universally liked event, rare in ESO. So, seeing this, they 'fixed' it.

Guess I sit at a boss now for a few hours and get bored... or better still, get my boxes and play something else.

if people dont realize that after all these years then they havent been paying attention.

It's already bad enough that master writs do not give rewards equal to the materials that go into them, but now the event to celebrate that work doesn't either. I *always* save up my writs to do during an event. Prior to Zeal of Zenithar, I saved them for double XP events so that I could run a scroll and get the most out of leveling and morphing skills. I've researched traits on all characters, and spread around more common motifs to my alts instead of selling them to be able to do this. This time I saved them for Zeal so I could get the reward boxes because previously I'd done most of them during another event, only to find out it's been massively nerfed this time, especially for crafters.

If you want to tune it down, adjust what is in the boxes. But the reward of getting a box for each writ done does feel rewarding and thoroughly in the spirit of Zenithar. Taking it away is gutting.

the daily writ one hasnt changed, even during the first zenithar event it was only 1 total event box from daily writs

master writs are what got nerfed from "unlimited" to "1 per craft"

It's not bad, but, I feel like the folks with alts are being "punished" somehow.

Right now I spend 20 minutes a day on getting all 9 event boxes(forgot the daily quest in my previous post), and then I am completely done with the event for the entire day. Sucks bigtime!

Even worse with all these restrictions is that ZOS did not force a new style page drop from the golden box!!

This is now one of the worst events, while it used to be one of the most fun ones. And this is coming from a crafter.

PS: The bad drops from the boxes absolutely did not warrant nerfing this event, and if it was done due to too many research scrolls dropping, those should have been limited instead. Not the boxes themselves.
