Let Us Recolor Major Adornments

We can recolor costumes, hats etc. in ESO. Why can´t we recolor Major Adornments?? Why?? I want this bad in the game. A great asset for everyone. What you people think?

I just wish they would remove the gender lock from the adornments.

Oh yes please.

I would really like to recolour the glass on my carmine monocle green, for example. And I'd much rather have such a system than a bunch of different colour variants that you need to buy seperately. It could even be eso+ exclusive like costume dying, I wouldn't mind.

For some reason a lot of the base major adornment are tied to hair color like the metallic dragonwing can be two shades of silver or gold, all depends which hair color you pick.

No need to make this a poll but personally I would buy a lot more adornments if I could change the colour.

Yes please. I would love to dye my character's major adornments. It would give the game and its players more customization and creativity.

Also the ability to dye body/face markings and hair would be awesome as well.

Oh yes please.

You used to be able to if you were wearing the adornment while you used a Dye Stamp from the store on a costume.
I used to have a Silver colored Mayhem Victor's Laurel Wreath on one of my characters because of this. (Usually it's Gold.)
This was back in like 2017/2018 though, so I dunno if it still works that way:

I don't care about adornments. I would care more about the possibility to dye horse equipment.

Exactly. Just delink the different color options from being tied to hair colors and let us pick them separately

I remember in guild wars 2 the adornments were called accessories and players can change the colors of those.

Eso needs dyeable adornments and also dyeable hair along with body/face markings. Dyeable mounts and skins too. Any color and base material.

Let kahjiit have cyan hair and hot pink earrings.

Definitely! Along with the hair dye option! I mean, even ancient WoW gives you the option to dye hair! Why not ESO?

(aside from the fact that with Grim Focus glowing like a Red Light Distric in Babylon it wouldn't matter what colour my hair was - it would end up being red)

Id really like hair dye options.. and tbh minor adorments as well. One of my toons is in all black, silver and red..except his nose ring which is bronze because his hair is brown and thats how that works apparently? and beards.. for god sake If your character has light hair you have 2 options- bushman or invisible

It would definitely be a welcome addition.

As it has been mentioned previously in the thread at least on some adornments the colour seems to be tied to the hair colour which introduces another layer of complication.

There are many times when I haven't used a major adornment that otherwise would have been fitting to the cosmetic appearance simply because it took the opposite 'sheen' if you will to what I was expecting when applied due to the character's hair colour.

Other times is just the fact that the adornment itself can't display the right 'metallic' shade where the dye - or a good approximation anyway - exists, is just the fact that we cannot apply it to the item.

In summary, this would be a pretty nifty addition.

I'm afraid this will be difficult to implement, the game so far doesn't even allow us to color our hair and facial hair without using a token. This is a basic feature in other games

Anything that enhances character customization and looks is a good priority to me! Although, I really would want the ability to change hair color separately from a token first.

Difficult yes, but not impossible.
