Wasn't there supposed to be another Whitestrake's Mayhem this quarter? Only 6 days left and there hasn't even been an announcement yet. What happened?

Last year it was in late July/August. I’m glad it’s not now because it overlaps with the recently released Necrom.

Personally, I'm guessing it will be the 29th. But, you do have some streamers suggesting they delay it so that might happen.

Why are they suggesting that-- performance issues in Cyrodiil? Hopefully they'll add or repurpose more servers for additional campaigns for the event and it will help performance.

I thought ZOS were in charge of the event schedule? Do they have some arrangement with some streamers of which I'm not aware?

Servers are not going to be able to handle it with all the arcanist.

They cant even handle the small scale pvp right now.

I believe on Deltia's stream he was saying he hoped it got pushed because people that don't normally PvP might still be burnt out from the last one.

ZOS is in charge. However, streamers tend to have a decent amount of influence on developers and players which can lead to things they suggest occurring. I'm still guessing it will be on the 29th but, I wouldn't be surprised if it did get pushed. This would be the first year that ZOS has done it within under two weeks of a new chapter release for consoles.

Personally, I want the new outfit style for my newer DK so I'd rather it happen asap.

If they made it for this weekend then it would have been worthy of complaining.

2 whitestrakes mayhems within the same campaign, which they extended to last 2 months. No bueno. Slotting it for next week was really the best move they could have made.

They switched to doing Thursday events awhile ago. Check any of the events this year besides Jesters which was like Wednesday.

No, they've nearly always started on Thursdays-- and nearly always ended on Tuesdays, which might be why you've got Tuesday in mind. Events usually run just a bit shy of 2 full weeks. There have been exceptions, of course.

Unfortunate that they couldn't take the time to categorize the grab bags so we could narrow down the choices to something we might actually want. But I understand the motivation to get people to buy tickets to chase after those desired collections fillers. I mean, it is a business, after all.

On the flip side, I can't wait to add to my collection of literally hundreds of Pelinal's book furnishings and Breton Terrier bones. Might need to use my free U38 character slot to make a storage mule to hold all of them, as well as all the curiously unstackable full HP new coldfire (incorrectly named "Cold Harbor" instead of Coldharbour) sieges.

You shouldn't need to do that. Each volume of the book stacks with other copies of the same volume, and the Breton Terrier Bones also stack together.

But I can sympathize with your "Oh, noes!" sentiment. I feel the same way whenever I find a piece of burned branch that I've already got buku copies of. You should see the corner of my Grand Psijic Manor where I dump them all!

Yes, I have multiple stacks of hundreds of each. Enough to completely fill a manor house.

I don't know if they just don't have time to make new rewards each year, or what. But I guess I should be grateful that they haven't clogged up the grab bags with this stuff (yet.)

the only book furniture that you can get from whitestrake's mayhem is the Pelinal books

@ZOS_Kevin why wasn't there any mention of the hard cap once per day per account cooldown on the new motifs? Last MYM we were limited to one Gloamsedge page per day, but nothing was said about it in the official announcement. So I'm assuming the new Sancre Tor Sentry pages will be on 24 hour cooldown also? This information would be helpful in the announcements.

ZoS had damn well better not have another PVP event till they have paid out the campaign that ran over last event.

All my characters are tier'd and waiting for payout from the current 2 month long campaign after ZoS ripped us off by not paying out a campaign with 3 days to go before they pushed the end date out a month.

ZoS better believe there are a lot of PVE players wanting to complete their arcanist builds and very annoyed because they don't have the transmutes owing from the campaign. And naturally the PVP'ers are very annoyed too.

the campaign literally ends on the third day of the event because like they said in two patch notes,
one on april 17 and the other when necrom released on june 5,

Reset Timer Changes
Monthly Leaderboards, Cyrodiil and Tribute campaigns will now reset on the first of each month.
Cyrodiil Campaigns
Starting with this update and moving forward, each of the old 30-day Cyrodiil campaigns will default to resetting on the first of the month at the daily reset time.
As a one-time adjustment, any campaigns which would have reset sometime in June will instead reset on the first of July.

no rip off. just a one time adjustment that people were told about all the way back in april.
