I’m actively trying to get it even though I don’t really use emotes. It fascinates me because I’ve never noticed if TES even has brass instruments, but I don’t see why they wouldn’t exist there.
The last place I heard it was in the Kvatch Arena. Given that it’s slightly more tuneful than a vuvuzela, that’s almost the perfect environment to hear it.

Awesome picture! Seems like people are having a lot of fun using it
I personally have little to no use for this emote, it's just not my preferred style.
But there are enough people around which seem to really like this one. Well done, zos!
And I learned there is a trumpet earned by Tot. It's time to finally start playing cards, I guess...
I must say I like the trumpet a lot. Once I play it, it don´t take long and some other players do the same.

Tried it out as promised, and yeah it's definitely fun to do your /trumpetsolo in groups. I mean, bringing people together is what online games are about, isn't it?
So thanks for this thread, I would've missed the party otherwise
OK, I tried it out and it sounds horrible. Overblown distorted trumpet slathered in reverberation.
I was expecting a military bugle call (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bugle_call) which would fit better than this.
The animation is passable but sound & phrasing quality is definitely lacking, perhaps therefore it's free.

the trumpet emotes you get from tribute actually sound closer to that (/trumpet1 and /trumpet2 are both really good, i like trumpet2 for when we are about to start a trial lol)
i would agree the trumpet solo emote doesnt have any real distinguished song, its more of almost just randomly blowing into the trumpet

Does that mean you no longer hate the mudball?
