As a person who plays in 1st person/3rd person centered with camera as close to character as possible, the Arcanist is miserable to play (Crux propeller). Maybe shrink those triangles to 1/4 of their size, move them to belt level and bring them in tight to the body so 3rdies still have visual and add a counter...something like https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info3639-CruxCounter.html. idk, but please for the love of Stendarr...Do something.

RIP. Arcanist, deleted and I will never play this class as is.

While you are at it, go through all the spells in the game from these perspectives and give them a QOL update. There are several that make play almost impossible (swirling ice tornadoes and such)...thank goodness they only last a short time.

I agree with toggles to allow individual preference on/off for pets, spells ect.

Zone looks and feels great, loving it and the stories!

Round 2 - Test after Crux fade implemented when out of combat

Created character, killed and looted through tutorial. While the crux fade after combat is an improvement, it's still miserable to play in my preferred camera perspectives. While I very much like the zone, without the character I feel I overpaid and wish I had waited for a blue light special.

RIP. Arcanist, deleted and I will never play this class as is.
Be kind and generous to the people of Tamriel. Protect the weak, heal the sick, and give to the needy. Stendarr

For me it isn't any worse than some of the sorc abilities have been. At least I'm not turning translucent....

Well, doing group content is still awful when there's just 1 arcanist. Have had beams covering almost my whole screen, so not only don't I see what's going on and where I'm going, I get eye pain and headache to boot. So continue to avoid group content it is, with the exception for arcanist-free ones that is.
Is that gonna be a thing now? Arcanist-free. Won't even bother try the new class when I get necrom because I'm sure it won't take long before I feel awful.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!

Until zos decides to overthink their policy regarding toggles for unwanted visuals in general, that's unfortunately the only viable workaround, yes. Players affected by the sorc's bird have to use this "solution" for literally years now.

Your issues were adressed at least partially, while we still wait for the same treatment regarding flappies.

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.
