Currently thinking of deactivating the xbox group, because main topic meanwhile are s*x memes.
Very different community.

Like there's no real place for it in-game as we're in universe that have no concept of preference discrimination if that's what was asked for as have no idea about fallout.
My other MMO has an annual pride parade which is entirely run by players. The company advertises it on social media, but all the organisation is done by fans. I don't know if that's ever been done in ESO but I can't see any reason it couldn't happen.
An official one would be odd becaue they'd need to tie it into the lore and while there's a lot of discrimination in Tamriel all the races have always been pretty accepting of different sexualities so I suspect inventing an in-universe reason for a Pride parade would mean changing the meaning at least slightly and that could be interpreted as being evasive about the real-world reasons for it.

I like that a lot, just something a bit more official would go the extra mile in showing support.

I don't think that ZOS should be doing in game real world events, especially in the current political climate. The players can handle this.

Everything is very simple. After all, in this case, I will simply stop buying all the following DLCs and recommending it to friends. As are all my friends too.
I have nothing against. But guys, can you do it somewhere else? I come to the game to enjoy the game and not to think about real life. This applies to everything - politics, various movements of society, volunteering and everything else.

Plus if they tried to add a lover day thing or something but it focused on same sex relationships in Tamriel that would be very weird and jarring for the world. And one last thing, same sex or LGBTQ stuff in Elder Scrolls has never been socially weird as far as I'm aware in universe. My thoughts
ESO already has lots of lgbtq stuff in game, and we have the aedra Dibella and Mara, who both represent love and diversity, so it would by no means be lore breaking. The main issue with it is I know that people like me come here to get away from things, alot of things not just one or two. To fall straight into the Elder Scrolls universe and take a break from reality and experience something different. Not to be hit with 'the message' or anything else similar as I know that could come from many different directions. Same reasons I no longer support certain movies and franchises. Its not their opinion that bothers me as much as I don't want these things in my entertainment.
Being reminded of politics and causes that I may not agree with is not fun and I can't see where every story has to be bent to accommodate any element that isn't native to that story.
Title.
Many many games are having pride events to show their support for the community, and as inclusive as ESO is, why do we have no mention of a pride event what so ever? We have one for fallout 76, why not for this? There wasnt even a mention of it on the main page. At the very least we could get some dyes, or some outfits, a pet, or something, but complete radio silence?
