Until someone says 'we don't need it'. If that happens, I'm ready to argue and fight for it. Jokes aside.TheForFeeF wrote: »Holy crap you can.
I don't think it would be hard for Zenimax to increase the duration of those mementos or enhance the brightness of the torch in that personality. Perhaps that could work.TheForFeeF wrote: »How difficult that can be.
ESO has some amazing mementos, but in my opinion, they need a bit more work and improvement, such as the one you mentioned. Perhaps Zenimax could make them more permanent, but I'm not sure. I'm interested in hearing other opinions.TheForFeeF wrote: »I play a DK and I would love to have the Inferno Cleats permanently on.
I normally use Finvir's Trinket (we can activate this ability during combat without any issues), but the 'blue aura' over the player is so ugly and blocks the view. If Zenimax were to remove this 'blue aura' and increase the duration, I think it would work.Unfortunately, because ESO is an MMO, ZOS is going to design it to appeal to the broadest audience, and I suspect dungeons and delves are so well-lit is due to this.I guess the introduction of a memento like a torch, lantern, or magical light source that actually casts a realistic amount of light and lasts more than a few seconds would be a good compromise, but then you'd run into issues like what happens when you enter combat.
I personally don't think ZOS will or should alter basic game designs to appeal to a niche playstyle. While I've also thought it would be cool if a delve was darker to be more immersive, the random passing of other players would ruin this immersion, so it's not really worthwhile IMO.
Long story short, if I'm looking for an immersive dungeon experience, I'll fire up Skyrim instead of ESO.
Same here, it lasts for 22 seconds *** and gives quite reasonable (and very pretty) light in dark places such as The Lightless Oubliette.I use almalexia’s lantern. You could also try item sets like pearlescent.
