PTS Will Not Load Past Login Screen More Often Than Not

This keeps happening. The main bottlenecks seem to be the "Requesting Login" and "Requesting Character Load" - is there a particular reason why this issue is plaguing the PTS?

Same problem here. Friend and I had been trying to get into the PTS for hours.

Lucky to even make it to the character select screen.

Seems to happen more aggressively to Arcanist characters from our attempts to log in to alts but possibly just coincidence.

Same here either get cought up in a loading screen or the game kciks me and gets cought in the infinite loading screen after a Error 334 pops up then with a bunch of question marks

Hier auch so, Lobby verloren, Verbindung konnte nicht hergestellt werden, Server nicht erreichbar, keine Verbindung zum Server und so weiter, komisch ist das es erst so extrem wurde nachdem ich mir a: einen Char erstellt habe, b: die Häuser dort gekauft habe und in die Häuser rein und wieder raus wollte, also Schiff und Stadthaus.

Davor war ich mit vorhandenen Charakteren dort am spielen und habe damit die Maps aufgedeckt, neben langen Ladezeiten beim Einloggen gab es aber weder Abstürze noch Probleme beim einloggen, heran gezogen wurden dafür die Chars vom NA Server!

Das wird wohl noch ne Menge Arbeit kosten diese Probleme zu beheben, aber die Ladebildschirme ziehen sich ja nicht nur auf dem PTS so in die länge, auch auf EU/NA sind die seit kurzem oft Extrem lang, hinzu kommt dann da noch diese 5 Minuten Umlog Sperre, vielleicht ist da die Ursache zu finden, den zum PTS gibt es diese Sperre anscheinend nicht.

Im übrigen finde ich es eh nicht so erquickend wenn entweder EU oder NA Charaktere zum PTS testen genutzt werden und alle Charaktere die man dort mal erstellt hat irgend wann verschwinden. Bist dann wohl möglich mal einer der anderen Accounts weg ist!

PTS has been completely broken since yesterday for me as well. Hopefully tomorrow's patch will fix it.

Cannot log in. I get a login timed out or Error 334 'lost lobby connection'. Not impressive.

I don't think anyone can login right now. Something has gone wrong at ZOS. They really need to look into this as if it carries over into next week the week will be a waste as well as the next patch. This issue should be top priority. If we need emergency maintenance then get it done so we can get back into the game.

What we really need at this point is just simple communication from ZOS. Anything that would confirm to the players that something is being done, worked on, looked at etc. That has always been an issue with ZOS. Lack of communication when it comes to serious issues with their game.

As I live and breathe. I just got into the game without a single issue. Decided to try it again and it all went smooth. Don't know for sure but maybe or should I say hopefully it is fixed. Now I am going to do what I planned for the game today which is to get some toons on the EU server as we maybe getting a character wipe with tomorrow's patch.

I did get on for a short while, but using way shrines, fast travel got me booted off. Maybe Beth wasn't prepared for the number of players that wanted to test out the new class?

Possibly - I tried the new class right away but with my vision problems and moving lights I could not handle the Arcanist's visual effects. I hope to see them make a way for those who can't deal with effects a way to disable them or make them unseeable to players like me. Don't get me wrong. The effects are top notch quality. My photosensitive eyes just go haywire with them. I get a headache, blurry and double vision and have to stop playing right away.

It feels like it's been getting worse as time goes as well.

I didn't really hit this during the first week, but now it's every time. And at the beginning of the week, it was just "say ok once and then it goes," but now it's just over and over again.

So you've closed other threads about connectivity issues to the pts server, and shifted people to this thread.
Why has there not been a comment from the Zos dev team to at least acknowledge we are having a problem.

Just wanted to make sure before I posted. 4 tries two login timeouts and two Lobby connection lost.

If you want us to test, you have to let us in.

Not only am I experiencing the log in and character lobby issues, but if I DO manage to get into the game on an arcanist, I cannot go through an instance into another zone without disconnecting and needing to do the whole dance all over again.

Can we please have this fixed before the PC NA test cycle is over?

Tomorrow is going to be a very bad day for ZOS and the game and the clock is ticking. I can see it now. I may not even try. Hopefully the Natch Potes will be something we can look forward to. That thread is the most entertaining aspect of the Forums. I will have to log in for that but the game nah. Its going to be rough.

I was able to log on to PTS initially and was able to play test some quests and half of the main quest while reporting bugs I found but after the last patch, I absolutely cannot log in or stay logged on to PTS. I never got a chance to finish testing quests so I hope other players that have been lucky enough to stay on the server are. Fingers crossed. It is the first time I've participated on the PTS, so it was very interesting checking everything out. I'm kinda sad I can't complete it due to the log in issues.

Don't worry too much about it Winifred. We are all in the same boat and have been all day. Once again the Devs have completely ignored us. So one of two things are going to happen tomorrow. If they have a fix for this in hand it will be implemented into the patch maintenance. We may never know what the issues is or was. Or if they don't have a fix in hand and this carries over the PTS will be in Maintenance all day with them scrambling to come up with a fix for it. We did nothing wrong. Whatever it is it is on ZOS and there will be Fallout from this. I will see it through but others will not. So we just have to roll with whatever it will be.

Personally, I highly doubt they will comment at this point I went to support over it and they just Stright up blamed me for the problem then closed the ticket all on their own over it, I had to reopen the ticket and tear into theme for closing the ticket without a resolution and for the fact they blamed me for the issue on the PTS at the moment.
Pretty bad when ya blame the customer over this issue and is yet not the only having this issue.

Same problem here, as for me this was the first time that I tried to use the PTS (wanted to see if this chapter is for me).

I'm just glad that I'm by far not the only one (first I thought I did something wrong), so this is somehow recomforting

Update: just deleted the PTS game-files again. As I could not log in even after a two dozen attempts, no reason to keep these 97GB on my hard-disk, I can use that space for games that work (You have to make choices with only 1TB space )

Same here, been trying to log in for a few hours on and off - either getting stuck at "Requesting Login", or playing for a few minutes and dropping out at the first loadscreen with a "Lobby Connection Lost". The last one also often comes up when trying to load a character.

All in all, nearly impossible to get into PTS lately.

Problem seems to be resolved. Been in the game since the servers opened without any of what we were getting so I am moving on from this thread.
