Of all the things we can get as a morph we are getting one of these awful markings skins. They have been appearing a lot lately in crates and they aren't well made. The texture, the flat colour, how it's always too much of it etc. It sticks out from the game design and looks like they were quickly made in MS Paint.

At least I will be saving tickets this quarter.

yes a lot of skins just look like regular motifs, not looking good and not feeling like a skin. It would be better if it was a mark

It's just as bad as a marking. We even have a couple of markings looking similar to this already.

We have a marking similar to this, although I do think this one is nicer. I dislike how they always put cheek markings on these things though. It's not a great spot for a face tat, and ruins a lot of skins I would otherwise enjoy.

I don't like this at all, and I also did not like the Q1 personality. So, not feeling much pressure for farming tickets which is a positive for me.

I think the body part is pretty nice looking, the face part would have been a bit less flashy if there'd been two stems growing from the throat part of the neck up to two smaller flowers on each side under the ears or something like that. I'll probably wear this on some character tbh, it might look nice paired with some body marking too!

Skins are probably easy money for ZOS. Just spend a few hours making a pattern, load up the skin model and slap the new pattern on. I'd expect to keep seeing an endless string of new skins for awhile.

it, as has been usual for MOST skins released in the last year, has DREADFUL khajiit tails. Not only is the texture blurry as if smeared down your best body part, it has a line break in the texture 3/4 the way down! ITS SO BAD. So, as usual with any skin that does not appreciate my tail, I will hard pass.

I think they had to call it a skin so people didn't complain about purchasing the face and the body marking separately.

This is a skin? I might not hate it as I'm tired of all the skins that blank out the eyes. Agree that the marking on the cheek is not ideal, and that any skin that doesn't do something cool with tails is a huge missed opportunity.

I play a lot of alts and like to give them all their own twist on body art where it suits me, personally I like this kind of "Skin" design. I feel its moving in the right direction allowing you to have two different body markings on top of each other. For the most part, skins are all or nothing with few markings that can overlap that have a noticeable difference. Skins like these really let you keep some of your personal appearances while creating some extra additions not a complete overwrite.

My Bosmer is using Oak's Promise body Markings with the Skin, they can both be on there without completely covering the entire body and are both plant themed so they mesh well together. As for the Khajiit and Argonian, they can keep their racial stripes, spots, and scales while having a Skin that generates body markings that doesn't wipe them out.

It's a shame, because properly done, as opposed to its current bucket fill appearance, this "skin" could have looked really beautiful.
I have a real issue with some of these skins and body markings. Why are they all bucket fill, no detail, flat looking markings? Why do so many of these "tattoos" look just like enormous single colour vector images slapped on to a skinblend?
Doesn't any real thought go into these things? Or are they just quick 5 minute jobs that can be crammed into a clown crate?
Because truly, 90% of them are freakin' hideous.

And yes, please stop smearing them on characters faces. It looks ridiculous.

I was surprised to see it looks worse in-game than I’ve seen in screenshots. My game looks fine but the markings in particular are blocky like they have no antialiasing and the leaves look flat and low res and the vines have a weird texture to them.

Having skins that are more like body markings is nice, the layering is fun.For example I'd love to get one that is a lot of scars so we can layer it with body and face markings, but these flowers, leaves and other out of place and colourful ones they have done lately just don't look good, and are badly done. There are no details, just flat colours (which are often too saturated/bright), and it's always the same just get that stuff on there pattern. Need to have on all the limbs (but tails are secondary!), front, back, then add some random part on the cheeks.

I just think we should have more outfits that are tailored towards showing a bit of skin, we have a few but they're either very "tribal/Argonian/Woodelfy" or uh... " dungeon-y"...

We could use some more clean cut, non-extravagant short shorts, tank tops, crop tops, high res sandals/barefoot, that sort of clothing - like proper summer clothing, without the added grit and tearing, without leather straps going all hither and dither across the parts, without carcass parts or medallions or other bling attached to them, without the hip/crotch flaps/tassets/belt pouches and so on.

This is just my theory. If this skin had not had mandatory facial markings I could have finally had a skin that made my vampires look like “not vampires”. I think that’s why this skin has face markings. I could have hidden the body markings of the skin with armor since my vampires are not plant based. 🌺

EDIT: Right now I use the frost rime skin with the lightest skin color option. It’s not ideal but it was a lifesaver when it came out because stage 4 vamp is so monstrous. I used to always cover my vamps with masks. My favorite vamp skill is the invisible sprint 🧛
