Was looking forward to the new Jester's Minstrel Daedroth Costume ...

So far I got the bucket and a single cloth piece. I bought hide shoulders. Not sure the costume is going to happen at this rate. Maybe if I get lucky and get a few more scraps I can buy the rest with crowns. Just wish the drop rate was a bit better.

Um... I'm ranging between 50 to 60% so far and I have been doing the quests on more than 6 times the accounts you have. It's been 12 to 20 per day.

It should be possible to get everything so long as you supplement with tickets for the pieces you don't get. Don't buy the tickets use the 3 you earn.

The anniversary event doesn't have special one time boxes and the new drops can drop in any jubilee box.

And I assure you, my 126+ boxes I plan to earn a day through the anniversary event will more than drop enough pages. Likely the bonemold pages will be trash drops for the majority of player by the end of the event and wasting guild trader slots like every gold style page in the anniversary event year after year.

Just to check, has anyone had any costume fragments drop from a purple box? Or do they really only drop from the gold ones?

Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in.

It really sucks to have an event "Drop" that you can't actually be lucky enough to complete without buying from ticket vendor (bad luck and having to grab there is different) but we need TEN fragments and there are only NINE Stupendous boxes for the event so even with the best luck we cannot complete the item.

Also, there seems to be very little reason to do the quests after the first since there isn't even a chance of them dropping from the normal boxes

So far, I've received no minstrels scraps. I've received 2 broom pages....and a regal regalia Motif I already had from a couple years ago. I'm at 0/10.

I'm particularly annoyed by the regal regalia drop, since it can come from purple crates and is nothing but a worthless placeholder in the gold boxes that simply shouldnt be there at all. Seriously, whose idea was it to have old motifs that are a dime a dozen drop in place of the new rewards from the gold boxes?!

That's too a bad. In the past, sometimes they forgot to mention something would drop from the purple boxes but it still did. Now it seems it's flat out only gold ones. That makes this event needless difficult to get everything.

I have two accounts. Using both accounts on the EU server I think I only missed getting the drop once. I'm probably going to sell the fragments because neither of my characters would ever use the costume.

On the NA server I might have two of the fragments. Not getting as lucky and NA is my main server. Also have more characters on NA server so one might actually wear the outfit.

Some guild mates really want the costume so I might donate the fragments to them. Kind of a wait and see.

Thanks! Now I know there is no point in even doing more than one quest a day throughout my whole account because the purple ones only drop stuff that’s worthless or that I already have. Saves me a lot of time.

Update: so I posted this on day one, after spending 10/12 tix I had leftover from last year. And 3 of us in game got 0 scraps for the new jester costume.

The next day all 3 of us got one and my friends gave me theirs, so I have 3.
The next day just I get one, so I have 4, but now I am at 11/12 tix, and now not knowing how many I will or won't get in game, every day I will have to spend 3 tix on one from the Impresario until I get to a total of 10 from in game or via tix.

Was hoping to get the 4 pieces for one of the two Indriks not knowing how many more events they will be available for, but the costume takes priority .. not horrid but not how I was hoping to spend tix.

On EU I saw people selling some parts for 350k per or less, possible during the next 2 days price will even drop more. Paying between 2 to 3 million gold is still better than 7500 crowns.

No as people realize the scarcity of the minstrel scraps the price is going to double or more. They are 600k-1 million right now.

True, but traditionally everything as far as the morphable-pet fragments and morphing-thingy fragments are all available at the end of the year during New Life, so that's helpful as well.

Yes, but there was a precedent of sorts with the I-forgot-what-it-was (fabricant pet?) that required buying instructions from the vendor in order to complete the thingy. Not exactly the same situation, but sorta-kinda the same.

Still the rarity of cloth drop completely cuts down newer players.
4 days x 4 accounts = 4 cloth drops for me.
5 days remaining (though i expect prolonged maintenance at PC EU)
in my statistics 1 drop per 4 days on a single account.
On average it is like 40 days to get all 10 drops, but we have given only 9 days total
and most likely on average one-account players will end up with 2..4 pieces.

Of course, heaven will not fall, if we don't get this fancy costume,

but considering the Event is meant to bring lots of fun, then: no, such drop rate is no fun at all.
and i don't understand why to tease players offering the rewards close-to-impossible to obtain.
Not lots of fun, but lost of fun, instead.

They don't drop IN PLACE of the new rewards though. They might drop in addition. I got three of them in the same box.

But yeah, this event is a major (profanity skipped) to the players.
