Nisuzi, She is the Khajiit that gives the Delve daily quests in Rimmen, Northern Elsweyr. I think she is quite the character with great dialogue.

Robbie has quite the range, so it can sometimes be hard to pick him out. For example, did you know he did Dirge Truptor? That's the human daily quest giver in Southern Elsweyr (Dragonguard refuge/aka Tideholm). He's the one constanly writing in his book. I would have never known it was him if it weren't for the credits!

I could also swear to you that he's that wood elf daily quest giver in Western Skyrim. I don't have confirmation, but the voice stands out to me and you can (kind of) hear Fenn in it.

More obviously, there's that wandering Breton knight in High Isle. He's a random encounter. You'll know him when you hear him because he sounds EXACTLY like how Fennorian would sound if Fenn was a pompous pain in the arse, LOL : P

I don't know if it's the voice acting or the writing, but the Year of the Dragon was a good year for daily quest givers. Bruccius Baenius and Guybert Flaubert in Southern Elsweyr always stood out to me.

I also love Cleese as Cadwell, of course. I remember being so excited watching that old video that interviewed the voice actors.

I actually stop and listen whenever I come across the bard singing Listen to the Hist Speak. There is something so ridiculously discordant, mercurial, and yet so very compelling about it. The thought that some talent in a studio somewhere imagined themselves into the skin of an argonian bard singing along to croaking frogs and created that for us blows my mind.

I swear, some of the base game actors have such a wide range that I wouldn't have guessed that they're playing 2 races and not just 1.

Since the thread hasn't died yet I will copy what i wrote in the bedtime story thread that has since fallen into obscurity.
JB Blanc (Divayth Fyr and many other dunmer, best voice actor in the game imo),
Laura Post (Witch Arana plus some Fargrave dremora, elves and imperials),
Liz Burnette (Valaste, Layne Sadri, many other mellow elves),
Keith Szarabajka (Celarus and many more).

Would be nice to hear these guys in future content, they are always pleasant to listen to.

There are very few voices that I actively don't like, even the "bad" acting can be quite charming.

But if I had to pick the most memorable one, than I'd pick Xukas (Jon Bailey, I believe?!). Maybe because it was such a break from the normal argonian voice casting and just a pleasant voice in general.

But there are really just soooo many good actors, it'd be easier to list who I didn't like. A list which currently only contains like 2-3 people.

@ZOS_BeckyIchnoski I'm glad you're here! This is the perfect thread to ask my own voice actor credit question I've been trying to find an answer to since 2017: who is the voice actor for Revus Demnevanni? And a second question from my guildmates: is the voice actor for Revus the same in Blackwood as in Morrowind? (Sounds the same to me, but about three guildies are convinced it's a different actor. Kinda like when some players insisted Sereyne the NPC didn't have the same voice as Sereyne the houseguest, but nope, it was Tara Strong all the way.)

Revus is my favorite ESO character and a favorite of a lot of my friends, so we'd really love to know who's behind the voice of that fantastic ill-luck mage. :D It's such a great voice: I thought I heard it from a few other ESO NPC's, but I can't find credits for them either, so my question goes unanswered. ^^; Thanks so much! A lot of the voice acting in this game just hits my buttons in exactly the right way. It makes playing a pleasant experience, so thanks for your hard work. :)

Revus is Robin Atkin Downes both in Morrowind and in Blackwood. His Blackwood session was remote from his home studio due to Covid ... I bet the different recording spaces and the several years in between the two sessions threw things off sonically a bit. Glad you enjoy the character!

The new Count Verandis. His voice acting in Skyrim was amazing, but even more so in the Reach. It's not often that I'm moved by the writing or voice acting in ESO, but that one stands out to me so much so that I'd replay it. They have got to bring him back.

For all the hate Greymoor gets, I have played the Western Skyrim and Markarth main quests the most because of the depth of emotion I felt from Fennorian and Verandis as their stories progressed. While I agree that the writing for Western Skyrim had cringy parts, it was Fennorian's character arc that really made up for it. Markarth's story was just top notch and the most moving emotionally for me because of Verandis. I was never into vampires, but I am into the Ravenwatch.

I'm also a fan of the voice acting for Sotha Sil, Razum Dar, Revus Demnevanni, and of course John Cleese! There's so many more that others here have already mentioned! I'm a huge fan of the voice acting in ESO.

As for Ardanir (who could talk to me all day with that accent)...
Lots of Robbie Daymond love! Since someone mentioned Ardanir and someone asked about his other roles … Ardanir is also Robbie. And he voices Safik, Dani’s sister in Southern Elsweyr. And yes, Dirge Truptor.
GET OUT! He's also the same voice actor for Fennorian? OMG that guy is talented! I would have never guessed that! Ardanir is the only daily quest giver that I still actually listen to all the dialogue for just for the voice acting, even though I've heard each quest many times over now. (Can I have house guests of both of them, pretty please ZOS?)

Oh my gosh, thank you for this!! My mind has finally been laid to rest over this slow-burning question. :D I should have placed money on RAD voicing Revus--his name was even on my shortlist of potential VOA's. (I was watching a video of Brynjolf in Skyrim just last month and posted on chat, "I wouldn't be surprised if this is the same person who does Revus's voice." Am also laughing because I always liked the male Demon Hunter player character voice in Diablo III...which is also RAD.)

I'm sure you're correct about why the recordings for his voice might sound a little different. While it did sound like the same person to me, I could also understand why some of my friends didn't think so; so much has changed in and out of game between 2017 and 2021.

Gonna post this thread to Discord and watch my guildies erupt into chaos. Now they'll have to find something else to argue over. XD Thanks again!

Hello everyone! First off, I love reading threads like this so thank you!

A few questions answered and random comments from me:

Someone asked about Angof’s voice actor. That is Andre Sogliuzzo. He is also the voice of Tulashurr (I saw someone mention him) and many other random Khajiit. Also, Stibbons! What a talent.

Wanted to +1 Jenna O’Gara’s singing. Those bard sessions were a dream to listen to.

Telenger the Artificer is Troy Baker. Don’t worry! We will find a role for him again. With a lot of the original cast as people have noticed, you hear them all over the place and as the same race. For example, someone pointed out how Jurisreeve Lorne was one of the only roles where Audrey Wasilewki isn’t playing a Nord. Well, that’s kind of true! She was originally hired as Khajiit and Nord so you will hear plenty of that in early zones. So, we love to bring back our original actors for roles that are unique and different than what you are used to hearing. (By the way, Audrey was so excited about her detective role!)

Lots of Robbie Daymond love! Since someone mentioned Ardanir and someone asked about his other roles … Ardanir is also Robbie. And he voices Safik, Dani’s sister in Southern Elsweyr. And yes, Dirge Truptor.

Stefan Mornard. I must comment. Between Roger Craig Smith’s acting and our new VO Supervisor, DB Cooper’s directing, his VO turned out amazing! Those were lovely sessions to be a part of.

Speaking of directors, I want to give a shout out to Cindy Robinson who has also been directing a lot of our VO during the past couple of years. For instance, she directed all of Ember’s VO sessions alongside our VO Supervisor Jessica Crowe. And she’s one of our original actors! Someone mentioned Dayna Imayn and Magistrix Vox. Those are both voiced by Cindy. And she’s Euraxia Tharn!

I also have to say that I love Arox the Mutilator (Mark Whitten) and Sotha Sil (Matthew Jayson Cwern). Those might be my two personal favorite NPCs. The combination of Sotha Sil’s writing by Leamon Tuttle and Matthew’s performance is just … the kiss of the chef! Matt said that one of his inspirations for Seht’s voice was Anthony Hopkins as Dr. Robert Ford.

And of course, Laura Bailey was so pleasant to work with! What a great Izzy.

Thank you so much for answering these! I'm now going through all of your past posts because I didn't realize there was so much information available. I had NO idea that Andre not only does Angof, but also Stibbons. That blows my mind.

Greymoor itself was not that exciting, but you nailed it...the depth of emotion from Fenn and especially Verandis carried it. I am not a big vampire person either...so color me shocked when the questline went on. I couldn't get enough. Summerset chapter wise may be my favorite...but quests.. I can hardly recall them in comparison to Greymoor and the Reach storyline.

I NEVER would have guessed that Robbie voiced Fenn. I can hear it now that it's mentioned- and I grew more familiar with him thanks to Critical Role.

Can we have Verandis? I will sell my soul for him as a guest.

My favourite English voice actor is and will ever be Jennifer Hale, a magnificent voice that was, IMHO, wasted on Lyris Titanborn here. Rants aside, one particular voice I really like, is Dalen Steelhandone's. He's a generic NPC at Windhelm's forge who, among his only three lines, he says "I prefer the Cold Moon Inn to the Sober Nord. It's much more rustic"

Too bad that he's a toxic racist towards Dark Elves (like many of Windhelm citizens).

I don't know the voice actor's name, but given this NPC is a generic one I'm sure he's got a bigger role with another character.
I am the very model of a scientist Salarian, I've studied species Turian, Asari, and Batarian.
I'm quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology) because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology).
My xenoscience studies range from urban to agrarian, I am the very model of a Scientist Salarian.

A name I want to add to the topic is Barbara Goodson. She was the voice actress for both Valsirenn and Z'Maja.

The one line that has stuck to me is by Z'maja: "How does it feel Olorime? To see your companions die?"
She makes it sound like a proper taunt. Like how she says the name Olorime. Plus speaking sload language (during the encounter you can hear Z'maja saying some lines in sload) while staying in character.

Way back before launch, when all the details about ESO came out, one of the things that got me super excited about the game, was the reveal of a lot of the voice actors.

The voice acting and dialogue/writing, overall, is one of the standout things in the game for me. It's so much more immersive to hear all of the dialogue spoken. I remember going back to play WoW for a little bit, and feeling really disoriented because I kept forgetting that the dialogue mostly had to be read from the tiny little chat box on the bottom left screen.

Naryu is the first character I think of whose narration and dialogue is a favourite. That combination of sexy snark and sass always makes me laugh.

Sorry I did not have a chance to come back sooner (I got very ill again).

But I just wanted to say THANK YOU SO SO SO SO SO SO MUCH!!! <3<3<3

I absolutely LOVE these voice actor facts that you just so casually dropped on us! <3B) Much appreciated!

I cannot believe VA for Angoff was also Stibbons. Stibbons, of all people!!! Now that I know this, I can kind of hear it, but I had no idea before!! Who would have thought Stibbons could make such a great villain hahaha :D I do feel like Angoff's story is not yet finished, but I guess it would have to be tied to Coldharbour quest completion somehow.

Oooh is Jenna O’Gara the Khajiit singer in Rimmen? I absolutely love her! I could listen to her all day.

And THANK YOU so so much for Telenger VA name. I thought his voice sounded vaguely familiar (as in, I heard it other places), but I would have never guessed it was Troy.

I'm actually very relieved that he's (Troy Baker) fine and everything is fine, and that my silly overactive imagination ( :s ) was imagining the worst (that something bad had happened to VA) when it was really just a simple explanation that he hasn't come back yet. I really appreciate it.

I do miss Telenger. I loved that banter fight he got in with Vanus, and I kind of wish there was more. We got to have SOMEONE with equal hubris to balance Vanus' ego, after all. ;) Andhe'skindofsexy--I mean what, who said that?

I do love Robbie. There's something just so natural about his performances that I can't help but grin a bit when I happen to find him (even though his wide range can sometimes make him hard to find, aha). I really appreciate the character name drops for him, and hope we get to still see even more performances from him in the future too! Fenn is just a fantasticly made character all around.

Ooooh and I love Arox and Isobel too! I thought their performances were spot on! I've loved a lot of Bailey's work from previous medias, and was happy to see her added to the ESO family. As for Arox, I was a little bit iffy on him at first (admittedly), but he quickly grew on me. He's just got such character for such a tiny little guy :D

    Thank you, Dev BeckyIchnoski! :)

I apologize for the double post, BeckyIchnoski, but I just had to come back and tell you how much I love you. Because Revus was another NPC that I had often wondered about!

It always felt like Revus was the only one with that particular VA. Not that I'm complaining, but single character VAs are very rare in a side quest character like that! So I always just assumed that maybe Revus had a Dev voicing him. :D I imagine, with a game so large as this, that it was possible that Devs could be voicing some of the side characters. (Not that I'm saying that you HAVE to have a dedicated VA, or that Devs couldn't also be VAs on the side! Just thought that maybe some of the Devs did VA work sometimes because they love it, but not necessarily made a career out of it).

But now I know! I do love Revus so much. He's my second fav character (with the entirity of House Ravenwatch as my number 1. Yes, I am counting the entire family clan as the top favorite and you can't stop me :p I do have the family ranked in order of favs, but I love them all so much I have a hard time choosing).

I'm not surprised to hear that he is voiced by none other than Brynjolf from TES 5's Thieves Guild. He's got quite the charismatic performances! :)

I was wondering....if I could perhaps ask who the VAs for Gwendis, Adusa-Daro, and Melina Cassel are. But only if you have time though! I don't want to bother you if you are busy. :o

Thank you so much again. <3 Your posts really made me so happy. :) I hope you have a fantastic upcoming weekend!

@Wolf_Eye Adusa is 100% Courtenay Taylor, and Melina is 100% Karen Strassman. Both very prolific voice actresses. I think Gwendis is Tara Strong but not entirely sure.

Oh thank you so much, amig186! This is so awesome! :)

Gwedis does sound like Tara, but I can't be sure either.

I do appreciate the name drops for the other two! Thank you!

Had to come here to give love to Roger Craig Smith for Stefan Mornard. His delivery was perfect and he gave that character so much life. His "let's continue this outside" line was such a good example of someone with that sort of practiced command. Chef's kiss. I'm excited to have him as a houseguest this month!

For me, no one comes close to Rilis in The Banished Cells. “Is this what you call magic? Hahaha. How amusing!”. I’ve been listening to the same lines since launch and they never get old.

Have you not heard me? Have I not made your choice plain? You will listen, mortals... even if it means peeling the ears from your scalps and shouting Namiira's will into whatever's left of your broken skulls!

Voice acting is good all over, but this gives me chills every single time.
