Favorite NPC Voice Acting Performances

The voice acting is so good on average, that I have a hard time choosing! So many of the main cast, like Abnur Tharn, the Prophet and Cadwell are just perfect for the roles. Also, both Ayrenn and Emeric are voiced excellently. Some other definite favourites in no particular order are:

    - Isobel; her voice acting is near perfect, it conveys the lovable personality of the character so well
    - Dayna Imayn; very pleasant, her lines and voice makes going to Vivec bank always a pleasure
    - Magistrix Vox; very believable performance of a crazed, grieving mother. Her "I see you" and the ensuing laughter always give me chills.
    - Tilenra Sildreth; the acting makes the humour of her quest twice as enjoyable, since it's exaggerated in just the right proportion for a comic story.
    - Silurie; something about that husky voice is alluring, and it fits the character.
    - jurisreeve Lorne; her actor conveys the emotions of the character very believably without going over the top.
    - Sotha Sil
    - Sir Hughes; just the perfect voice for the role, and well emoted.

There is one voice actor whom I haven't heard in a while, the voice of Telenger the Artificer. I've made a few attempts on the internet to try and find his voice actor, but with no results. They haven't brought back the character, and I don't think I've heard the voice in a long long while, so I'm a bit concerned that something may have happened to the actor. @Wolf_Eye I feel the same! I love the new voice actor they chose for Verandis, his performance was amazing. I felt it added so much depth and emotion to the character. Like you I still enjoyed the original very much, but having him be more distinct really added to his character.

I adored Robbie Daymond as Fennorian as well. I was already a fan of his performance as Prompto in FF15, and was thrilled when I found out he played Fenn. What other NPC's were voiced by Robbie? I wonder if they're some I like and have not yet realized are him.

I got so into writing up my little spiels that I forgot I was going to quote a couple of people too.
I once (years back) had a major crush on Angof the Undying because of his voice. If anyone knows who was the voice actor for him, I'd be happy to know.

I believe that's Steve Blum. His voice is highly crushable.
Nevermind, I have been stood corrected. :D

I've always thought Malcom McDowell's performance as Molag Bal to be some of the best in the game, and John Cleese as Cadwell obviously.

Pretty much any Thieve's Guild character's voice acting was superb. It really shows how much they really cared about writing and dialogue back then.

The person who voiced Tiras Tirethi in the Veyond quest really blew me away with his performance. He didn't have a lot to work with dialogue wise, so it made all the more impressive. He first made me absolutely despise him and his arrogance, only to come around and feel a lot of empathy for him and to even like the character. I think it takes a lot of talent to make a big impression with only a little screen time.

Other voices I really enjoy are Narsis Dren, Fennorian, Count Verandis, Raz-um-Dar, Caldwell, Bastian, Naryu, Queen Aryenn, Darien, Lady Arabelle, Zaji, Caska, Rada-al-Saran, Mehrunes Dagon, and Jakarn.

The way Jakarn says "Hey good looking" makes me smile every time. Immediate buy as a house guest.

However, I really wanted to shout out Tiras because these other characters who's performance I enjoyed had a lot more to work with.

Yeah, they're all fantastic. In fact, the more I read the thread, the more I'm reminded that its pretty much all top-notch.

On paper, I wouldn't even like Zaji and Caska's kinda slapstick routine but ya can't listen to them and *not* smile. Zaji's tempo, in particular is just on point. So good.

This is bringing back memories of sitting in a coffee shop in the National Theatre in London and hearing, from some corner, the voice of Dumbledore booming around (that sort of thing happens quite a lot there) and cutting through all background noise. Michael Gambon's voice is something else, like it was designed for performance.

I would have never known it was him if it weren't for the credits!

Hello everyone! First off, I love reading threads like this so thank you!

A few questions answered and random comments from me:

Someone asked about Angof’s voice actor. That is Andre Sogliuzzo. He is also the voice of Tulashurr (I saw someone mention him) and many other random Khajiit. Also, Stibbons! What a talent.

Wanted to +1 Jenna O’Gara’s singing. Those bard sessions were a dream to listen to.

Telenger the Artificer is Troy Baker. Don’t worry! We will find a role for him again. With a lot of the original cast as people have noticed, you hear them all over the place and as the same race. For example, someone pointed out how Jurisreeve Lorne was one of the only roles where Audrey Wasilewki isn’t playing a Nord. Well, that’s kind of true! She was originally hired as Khajiit and Nord so you will hear plenty of that in early zones. So, we love to bring back our original actors for roles that are unique and different than what you are used to hearing. (By the way, Audrey was so excited about her detective role!)

Lots of Robbie Daymond love! Since someone mentioned Ardanir and someone asked about his other roles … Ardanir is also Robbie. And he voices Safik, Dani’s sister in Southern Elsweyr. And yes, Dirge Truptor.

Stefan Mornard. I must comment. Between Roger Craig Smith’s acting and our new VO Supervisor, DB Cooper’s directing, his VO turned out amazing! Those were lovely sessions to be a part of.

Speaking of directors, I want to give a shout out to Cindy Robinson who has also been directing a lot of our VO during the past couple of years. For instance, she directed all of Ember’s VO sessions alongside our VO Supervisor Jessica Crowe. And she’s one of our original actors! Someone mentioned Dayna Imayn and Magistrix Vox. Those are both voiced by Cindy. And she’s Euraxia Tharn!

I also have to say that I love Arox the Mutilator (Mark Whitten) and Sotha Sil (Matthew Jayson Cwern). Those might be my two personal favorite NPCs. The combination of Sotha Sil’s writing by Leamon Tuttle and Matthew’s performance is just … the kiss of the chef! Matt said that one of his inspirations for Seht’s voice was Anthony Hopkins as Dr. Robert Ford.

And of course, Laura Bailey was so pleasant to work with! What a great Izzy.

@ZOS_BeckyIchnoski I'm glad you're here! This is the perfect thread to ask my own voice actor credit question I've been trying to find an answer to since 2017: who is the voice actor for Revus Demnevanni? And a second question from my guildmates: is the voice actor for Revus the same in Blackwood as in Morrowind? (Sounds the same to me, but about three guildies are convinced it's a different actor. Kinda like when some players insisted Sereyne the NPC didn't have the same voice as Sereyne the houseguest, but nope, it was Tara Strong all the way.)

Revus is my favorite ESO character and a favorite of a lot of my friends, so we'd really love to know who's behind the voice of that fantastic ill-luck mage. :D It's such a great voice: I thought I heard it from a few other ESO NPC's, but I can't find credits for them either, so my question goes unanswered. ^^; Thanks so much! A lot of the voice acting in this game just hits my buttons in exactly the right way. It makes playing a pleasant experience, so thanks for your hard work. :)
