ketsparrowhawk✭✭✭✭✭I've always avoided using Mist because it feels so cheap. Just finished testing out the new version and I REALLY like it. Gives a nice little dash of mobility to your kit but doesn't seem terribly ripe for abuse. More than anything I see it as a nice convenient source of Major Expedition + Evasion.. that alone makes it really nice, on top of the base function of the ability. And the Blood Mist morph is actually useful now too. Only thing I'd change would be to give it 4s of Snare/Immobilize immunity rather than the projectile absorption. But I'll take it as-is.
One small piece of feedback: with mouse+keyboard I still have full camera control while in Mist form. With controller the camera angle is locked until the animation ends. I use MKB but some of my friends have said they don't like the locked camera with controller.1 -

It actually really helps with a lot of things, most of all it makes blood frenzy, the ulti and mist form cost next to nothing. I know its not meta, but it works for me really well.
I guess it's just cause I'm a Dragonknight and play aggressively. I actually want Swarming Scion to be expensive due to Battle Roar, I have plenty of offensive self healing in Burning Embers to keep up with both BfB and Blood Frenzy (at least in PvE), and I don't sit in Mistform for very long.

- Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
- Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

And how are you supposed to survive in PvP without a tank set? The -75% damage was such a nice devenive skill and you could toggle it on and off so quickly. You literally get 100 percent damage reduction from ranged skills. Thats far more useful than 75 percent. 100 percent mitigation of 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 incoming damage is 0 damage taken. 75 percent, youd still die.
As for the kills the sorc stream comment. People said that about vamp invis at stage 4, and that didnt happen. It won't happen here either.0 -

I played around with the new mist on pts a bit. They shouldn't have described it as a teleport because that's not really what it is. You move maybe slightly faster than full sprint speed. It still looks like the same old mist. There is a travel time whereas streak is a true "instant" teleport. You can still be attacked with mele and cc'd while in the mist form too. It's a substitute for streak as much as the sprint-invis passive is a substitute for cloak.1
