Now we just need hide flaps and belt.

Unless this is some consumable item. Because if so, [snip] that. It better just be some unluck for outfits just like the head is.

    [edited for profanity bypass]

Yeah the hip flaps were... A weird choice

    Finally!

    What about hip flaps?

Much harder to do as they are part of the torso armour, requiring a rework of the mesh and/or the textures for the flaps. Considering the number of styles that would need to be reworked so that you had a choice of flaps or no-flaps, I don't see it coming. Likely there will be armour choices added that don't have these (as we have now)

Shoulders are easy, it's one item, turn it off or on.. done, so I can see why this is a thing, even though the implementation is.. odd

Cool, but we also need a hide waist/belt option

Some outfits don't have waist options and none of the other motif waist options fit.

Update 37 is on PTS, what's the hide shoulders feature like if anyone is on there.

It will only show up in a few week with the jester festival testing

If you go to Collections - Outfit Styles you can choose to Hide Shoulders on the PTS in the Outfit Preview. (Make sure show locked is checked)

It appears to work as expected in the preview.

this works for companion outfits too right?

I'm afraid that part will not be known until the actual item can be obtained on the PTS.

Finally giving us more hide options is only filling half of my wishlist cup. If they also gave Consoles the option to change the Camera's vertical offset then I'd be a peach, and probably play a little more. Even still, letting us hide shoulders is a big win. A LOT of people will be happy from this.

The jester festival was added to the PTS today so I got the item and it does work for companion outfits as well.

There already does exist options in the code to hide Tassets and Hip Flaps they're just not available to the average player.

Take this guy's comment into consideration as well. The game has had the option for at least 2 years now, Zos just has reasons to not release assets people request.

Interesting. Is this an option for all armours or was that just a custom one for the NPC? Possibly some, but not all armours have this function available? Again, if not all armour has this ability, it's a lot of work to make them compliant, my guess is it's low on their list of things to do.

Shoulders should have come a long time ago, one piece and ne UI element to do.. at least it's here now

I'm going to be bold and request something I've never seen anyone else post about yet: it's now time for ZOS to add a hide back item option. There's nothing I hate more than seeing a cool outfit/motif only to find out it's got a fat bag or massive pair of ugly wings sticking off the back of it, utterly ruining the silhouette.

I would wear the Welkynar motif if I could disable the wings like Grand Warlord Sorcalin does in the AD main Cyro base.

Just adding my voice here. I'm very happy we're finally getting the "hide shoulders" option coming up but I would argue that equally important would be the hiding of other options. Especially considering those options are all in the game already but just not enabled as stated above.

So, in order of importance (imho) I'd love to see the following "hide" options added as well:

    1. Belts
    2. Gloves (including "bracers" that are built-in to chest pieces)
    3. Tassets
    4. Crotch/butt flaps
    5. Boots (including "socks" that are built-in to leg pieces)
    6. Chest pieces (This one gets controversial, I could accept this as a non-starter. This is why I kept it to the last.)

I won't bother to suggest the pants. That, at the very least, keeps people from being completely in their underwear and still gives us tons of options. And these, of course, are options. More choice is always better.

I highly agree to this one:

    4. Crotch/butt flaps

    Let us hide that ZOS.

Belts are essential, almost same importance as shoulders. Even ZOS don't do belts to all styles (event styles, etc.). Crotch/butt flaps are even more annoying but that this may require making alternative models for every chest, so I will understand if they won't do this.

I don't see why there are any objections against hiding any of the armour pieces. There are always going to be people who make strange clothing choices in game, but so many people seem to make an effort I think they'd have fun with the most adaptable system possible!

I can see them moving forward with a system similar to the indriks where there's a bunch of "hide slot" options, but they're dripped out over time, and each "hide slot" option has to be put together from fragments or something.

Next, hide the hip pads/plates. On some sets they look very good but ALOT they seem to have been added on as an after thought. Take the Black Drake Clanwrap for example, it's quite literally just floating.

That would be better than the nothing we have now but I hope it's not that complicated and time consuming. Heck, I don't mind working for it. Give me a long questline to work through. But the idea of making it stuck behind event tickets and thus potentially taking months to achieve is a little disheartening.
