Tank, Dps, Healer: How do you think you'll use your Arcanist?

Title says it all.

I tank in pvp and pve so I'll likely slot my Arcanist with healy tanky goodness, but what do you think you guys will do?

It's too early to say, will have to wait for the PTS. But from the small preview that we got, the skills look a bit too clanky to weave with, so probably not a dps, more likely a support role.

I only PvE and plan to have them specced to all three roles using armory. I'll likely spend most of my time on the "DPS". I put that in quotes because I can imagine like all classes at the moment to be optimal it will rely heavily on weapon skill lines as well as other universal skill lines, and I intend to roll as many of the class abilities as I can as they look rad.

I am pretty sure that it will be so far out busted and broken class, so just one character for all content (PvP, PvE tank, dps, healer) will be enough.

Optd for solo and cyro. I'll ACTUALLY try to figure out if one of my other 14 characters has a natural counter to the class and deck him out as an arcanist hunter, since there won't be many of THOSE in cyro.....😐

As a healer main I'll definitely use my new Arcanist as a healer. I'm really interested on what new skills they will bring to the table, what buffs/debuffs I can provide and how they will synergize with my co-healer's classes.

Depends on the abilities but a magicka-based character I level to 50 then abandon. Happened with the warden and necromancer and I really really tried with the latter.

I won't know until I see and test all the new skills and know what they do.

Hard to say without being able to look at the skills, but I'm sure it'll be some kind of tanky brawler dps, because I pvp.

I tend to play one of each and use the armory to change between specs. The idea of leveling, doing guild skill lines, skyshards, etc, again, makes not bothering with it at all more palatable.

Every Mag is DPS and Healer.

DPS I used to have many tanks, but since they hit so weak in pve now, I basically made all but one a dps.
