Which unkillable NPC would you like to be able to assassinate?

Pacrooti's near the top of my list. I can't even do gem extraction without him using various not-too-subtle suggestions to spend money, and unfortunately the "Shut Yer Trap" PC addon won't work on him.

Yeah that was absolutely some weird writing on ZOS' part. At numerous points they've written Tribute as being a brand new game to Tamriel but also one that everyone's been playing for ages.

Since nobody's mentioned this so far - the Grand Warlords Dortene, Zimmeron and Sorcalin.They're responsible for giving the repeatable quests to recover the Elder Scrolls in Cyrodiil for the three alliances. There are a total of 6 possible quests they can give randomly, depending on who owns what at the time (unless your own faction's scrolls are missing, in which case they'll prioritize those), but I swear, even if the odds are 1 in 2 to get the right quest, they will go out of their way to keep giving you the wrong quest over and over and OVER again till you resort to asking in zone chat if anyone has the correct one to share. Absolutely insufferable people.

After a good year and a half after Blackwood's release you'd think this would have gotten across by now

. Bastian does have notably less dialogue than any of the other companions so you do end up with more repetition but that is a whole different and frustrating topic. In the short term - don't like companion - don't summon them. Problem solved.

To be honest, I'm not particularly bothered by npcs in video games, definitely not enough to want to 'murder' them. I guess Sorinne and her 'brand new card game' came the closest but the 'shut yer trap' add-on has improved major cities and towns immeasurably. Sorinne is less an ordinary npc and more a noisy in-game ad and players should always have the option to mute that sort of nonsense.
