Sorry, but I can't help you on this one.
very good question, I say sorcerer and warden has less need for it as they has other pets who can absorb hits. What exactly makes Engine Guardian in your eyes a problem only for sorcerers? Either it is overpowered for every class, or it isn't.
The Engine Guardian set spawns a guard every ten seconds and when an enemy tries to hit you, it hits that guard. Most 99 percent of the players first kill the guardian and then start to beat the sorcerer but fail as the guardian reappears. And aiming at a sorcerer during a battle is almost impossible. I have seen undying sorcerers so many times just because of the presence of this set. You literally give the sorcerer an extra 10ka shield every 10 seconds. Of course, you can put this set on any class, but the sorcerer is the most mobile class and this set just works more efficiently on him.
This set shouldn't work like that. You literally can't help but beat the guard. So he still recovers very often.
Solution. Increase the cooldown of this set.Or make it so that this guard cannot be selected with the cursor.
The set gives a large resource recovery and a shield for 10ka health every 10 seconds. He should give one thing but even a 10k shield is too much for pvp. It does not decrease by 2 times due to the fact that this health is a guard. It gives more protection to the sorcerer than any other set.

It's kind of nice seeing them in PvP on certain endeavor days, when you can get "Destroy X amount of Dwemer automatons" simply by DOTing the player.... and when player dies or if the EG timer expires while they are DOTted, it counts.
