During this High Isle event, I have been lucky enough to uncover purple treasure(s) (to sell to a merchant). These treasures are worth about 1500 gold if you sell to a NPC merchant.
However, and a while back, I killed a nobleman with the Blade of Woe and found a 5000 gold treasure on him known as the moth cocoon from the temple of the moth priest. I showed the zone chat and someone offered to buy it from me! However, it was account-bound.
I ask ye, how many would want treasures to be sellable to both NPCs and to others players?
Like IRL how human beings hold materialistic things with zero extrinsic value and with solely intrinsic value, I think ZOS should make treasures sellable to all players.
I would GLADLY give up inventory space to flex my copy of Erotic Stories (green treasure item) featuring the respectable and just Queen Ayrenn and other prominent figures of the Aldmeri Dominion. Even my copy of a Pocketbook Guide to Kick The Kahjiit is a keepsake worth trading (imo). To me, these items are worth more than 40, 150, 1500, or even 5000 gold. They are collectors' items worth cherishing forever.
I ask this poll not for the sake of these priceless artifacts, but for the ability to share the joy these artifacts bring to the ESO world through free market capitalism.
Should treasure be sellable?
I’ll leave you with the wise words a Kahjiit named Ember once told me when I found a heavy sack in the woods by a caravan camp massacred by Assassin Beetles, “TREASURE?!?”

typo in the first poll-option. Should be players instead of characters** even though players play multiple characters, characters do not play multiple players.

Should TREASURE be player TRADABLE/sellable?? 73 votes
Yes, please make treasure an item tradable to other characters. I would gladly give up precious inventory space to carry these items along with my mythics just to flex my transmute crystals, luck, favor of the RNG Gods, and commitment to ESO treasure collecting. This also builds nicely with the antiquities skill line that can add a player + player element to it.
No, I don't enjoy treasure as much as the OP. I think the account-binding to any found treasure is a good thing for the game. It's such a good thing, I will probably also explain why it is a good thing in the comments instead of outright saying no to the OP's request.
I neither am for or against the collecting and selling of exotic treasure on an open free market world scale.
