I have to admit - gold is really not my favorite color. I don't wear golden jewellery or golden accessories. Gold is not my color.
But hers, it is. Definitely. And I really don't know why... *sigh*
But - I have to admit - it suits her. So I let her be.Lauriana Lutea - The Golden One

Hunting is his profession. Let it be game, fish, butterflies, torchbugs, spiders, squirrels... May it have four legs, six legs, eight legs, or sometimes even two... provided they belong to the female department, that is.
You name it - he hunts it down.
He likes to be outside in the wild, in the forest. Crouching in the underwood, silently and slowly approaching his prey, step by step. Unknown, unseen, unheard.
That's why he chose to dye his outfit in dark colors, to blend in with the environment.
Not to be seen - if it weren't for his ridiculous hat that has the nasty habit of regularly getting tangled not only in bush and twigs, but also with his bow - and thus alerting everything and everyone in the vicinity of his presence.
But still, he refuses to take it off. Well at least, it keeps off the rain and the sun. I give him that.Laurien Chassepartout - The passionate but more or less successful hunter

Head: Helm always hidden
Torso: Dark Elf Jack 2
Shoulders: Assassin’s League Arm Cops
Hands: Order of the Hour Gloves
Waist: Barbaric Girdle
Legs: Outlaw Greives
Feet: RaGada Boots
Dye: Belt is Red from Rank 10 materials, everything else is Obsidian Black.
Hair: Covenant War-Locks
Facial Hair (really needs another name for this category): oracle eyes. NOTE this brings up a problem, my character is a vampire and I hate those eyes, so originally I purchased the “red” eyes (I think it was via crowns) and now I don’t see them as an option so BUG WARNING.
Major Adornment: Fancy eye patch (right from character creation; hey some things Cold Harbor can’t change)
Personality: Swashbuckler
Inspiration: Meet Domino Fae, Breton Pirate Queen of the Abecean Sea. For years (been playing since the month after PC drop) I referenced her as a “character” and “dangerous pirate” in stories my characters told each other (and others in our group). She was a murderous buccaneer , complete with cheesy references to the Dread Pirate Roberts who never takes prisoners. She was who you threatened your children with, who you prayed that your loved ones would never meet.
For more specific backstoryEventually she was captured and sent through Cold Harbor, which for her started a kind of redemption. Cold Harbor changed her, and she came out younger (and in her business looking “young” and “cute” is NOT an advantage) and more compassionate (slightly more compassionate). Her familiar/pet is an Ashen Scar Jerboa named “Fishbait” who, despite the name she would never allow to come to harm, and her Mount is the Dagonic Quasigriff “Carrion” so named partly because he was not well-behaved at first and might have ended up that way, and partly because there is little he won’t eat.
She is a vampire mostly because there is little she wouldn’t consider for power, and she offered this “gift” to her crew (most of whom accepted). She dislikes the idea that there is anything she cannot do, so she is at least moderately proficient at any and all skills she can learn, which most recently includes Tales Of Tribute. She can appear to be gracious in defeat, but generally in the event of a loss, she will probably find out where you live.
Her personal apartment is the Barbed Hook Private apartment. The ground floor is somewhat stark; the upper floor (yes, housing is one of my end-games) is mostly given to alchemical pursuits and ingredients, many of which are questionable, if not outright illegal.

Sword: Encratis’s Behemoth Sword
Shield: Steadfast Society Shield
Colors Used: Shadowfoot Grey, Bandit Brown, Legionary’s Lead
Cosmetics: Jarl’s Crown, Wrestler’s Buzz Cut, Werewolf Claw Face Scars, Knights of Saint Pelin Body Marks.
Inspiration: Brother Gallius is modeled off of the European Medieval era Church Orders, such as the Templars, Hospitallers, and the Knights of St. Matthew. His in-lore inspiration comes off of being a Knight of Saint Pelin, though he took a vow of pilgrimage, and was only reunited with his order after the events of Bangkorai.

In the first picture I am using a memento which I find completes the outfit look for if I want to look more steampunky (good in battle or anywhere around the radius), though by no means is it needed and the outfit is nice for relaxed wear without it on. The Memento in use is "Dwemervamidium Mirage".

Inspiration: I adore all things steampunk, and love both Clockwork City and The Dwemer. I made this also partly because there were no costumes with a steampunk/dwemer/clockwork apostle theme to them, so I had to make my own!

The Witches Festival and Halloween are my favorite holidays in-game and in real life, and I wanted an outfit that I could have on when I am in a spooky mood. I made this using what I had on hand, and I think it turned out well. All she needs now is a Hollowjack mount and she is good to go!
My warden Imperial Artemis Selenes:Close up pictures of my character
Some pictures taken in my home Water's Edge
Mount and petArtemis Selenes is a 22-years-old Nibenese Imperial from Leyawiin, and he works for the Battlespire. He focused his studies on the arcane arts and sword "dancing", a graceful martial technique that consists of dueling with agile and elegant moves. He can be described as a spellsword, who summons bound weapons with conjuration and uses frost and nature magic. He also owns a shop within his property in Leyawiin, which he runs while he is not on duty in the Battlespire.
- The costume is "Elder Council Tunic and Sash", dyed with "Wayrest Royal Purple" on the clothing parts, and "Divine Gold" on the metal parts.
- The head adornment "Mayhem Victor's Laurel Wreath".
- The main hand sword is "House Hexos Style", the blade is dyed with "Divine Gold" and the handle with "Wayrest Royal Purple".
- The off-hand sword is "Gloambound Arm Pack", the blade is invisible when sheathed.
- The body and face markings are "Saint Kaladas", a hero and saint in Leyawiin/Niben culture.
- The mount is Star-Born Guardian Horse.
- The non-combat pet is Madcap Jester Monkey.
I went for a very elegant and expensive-looking tunic because of my character's social status and his services in the Battlespire. Not only does it reflect his wealth and his love for beauty, but also his identity as an Imperial, as of style. I think purple and gold is a very strong combination to signify Imperial culture, particularly Nibenese, more akin to magic, philosophy and diplomacy. The names of the colors themselves are really matching with Artemis' identity, as the "Wayrest Royal Purple" is reminiscent of his allegiance to the Daggerfall Covenant and his time spent in Wayrest, while "Divine Gold" could indicate his deep devotion to the Eight Divines of the Imperial pantheon, particularly Akatosh, Mara and Arkay. The warden class abilities match really well with those turquoise gems on the costume's bracers.
The markings themselves are a main characteristic of Nibenese Imperials, who are characterized by a very exotic, cosmopolitan and mystical, almost divine, atmosphere. Nibenese Imperials had and still have a very rich culture, which is often misunderstood as "just Roman", when in reality I believe is more complex and nuanced than that, and their closeness to the Alessian legacy marks a very intimate relationship with the Divines.
The mount's colors match his outfit quite well, and the magical nature of this equine reflects Artemis' affinity to the arcane; on the other hand I chose this monkey as my character's pet purely for IRL connections and references, which I shall keep a secret.
