It is channel and not DOT:
- This ability and its morphs now hit 4 times over a channel time of 800ms
Visual looks like a channel to me too.

I guess to elaborate further so you may be educated on how the game displays damage numbers so you may better understand what I'm talking about.
the area circled in Red is where DoT-based effects are displayed, and Above is where the game displays Direct (non-DoT) damage. Flurry currently indicates its damage visually in the DoT category as it scaled with DoT's. Just as Radiant oppression does. Jabs do not display in the red box as it doesn't scale with DoT's and is Direct damage. I'm simply pointing out that ZOS since changing Flurry to not scale with DoT's should adjust it to the Direct category visually.

Now I understand what you mean. You want the damage scrolling text adjusted!
"damage visual" can be many things.
Yeah I totally agree that scrolling text needs to be adjusted!

Flurry should not have been scaling with anything DoT-based for a long time now. Until mid-2019 it was a DoT. Since then it has been direct.
They fixed the very same CP issue back in 6.3.4 (Flames of Ambition, February of 2021): "Flurry: Fixed an issue where this ability and its morphs were inheriting Thaumaturge's damage bonus." Thaumaturge applies to DoTs, and Flurry was not a DoT as of last year, so that's why it inheriting Thaumaturge's bonus was an "issue" that needed to be "fixed."
Puncturing Strikes (Sweeps/Jabs) was also turned into completely direct damage rather than a hybrid of direct/DoT with 5.2.5 (Dragonhold) in mid-2019.
In those same patch notes, we saw this comment: "Flurry: Reduced the damage dealt by this ability and its morphs by approximately 8% to ensure it does not eclipse other damage abilities, such as DoTs." The phrasing "other abilities, such as DoTs" says that Flurry was not a DoT at that point in time. It doesn't say "such as other DoTs," which it should have if it had still been a DoT itself.
