U35 Combat Changes, vSS hm and how it affects me personally as a mid-tier player

    I'd love to know if the combat team was able to confirm their changes didnt actually make existing encounters impossible. 😆

    Hey @ZOS_Kevin I would say this fits to around 90% of the "better than average" groups. This update will have a huge negative effect for all of us. The 0.01% top elite groups are able to adapt this easy and even if they will have a very small harder time they still can clear all the content. But everyone else, that maybe has a job to do and is just playing because of the love to ESO and his collegues / guild members will get hit really bad.

    Powercreep and new powerful sets like we see it the last years, did help most of the groups to be able to go and also clear harder content that was completely out of reach before.

    Lots of groups trained hard to get for example the HM's on vSS ( yes an older trial ) while the newer trials are just impossible yet to clear.

    These changes throw all groups that are not super elitists completlely back and everything to lowering the gap?

    Same boat here.

    Myself and some friends were in the process of putting together a GS group and then shelved the whole thing when this patch was announced. We knew the portals would be beyond us.

    FF14 brought back the free trial period for anyone interested..

    I too am going to chime in here.

    As a Console Player I completely agree with this post, although I cannot test myself, everything that was said in the original post relates to me. It affects my guilds so much, we don't have all the fancy add-ons that PC are able to get and generally speaking the broader Console community have a harder time getting through content than PC does.

    I myself am not a HM/ Trifecta Score Pusher, but I partake in Vet and HM runs when I can, and on Live some of this content is still a struggle to get through for Open Run teams (not Core Teams). If DPS Damage and Healing Over Time gets lowered as much as players are reporting on PTS, the current Vet content will be near impossible for some groups on Console.

    I really hope that the Dev Team take a long look at how these changes will affect ALL Players on ALL Platforms with the current content.

    alternatively, you could simply employ people in the balancing team who play the game themselves at a high level and then you wouldn't constantly make ill-considered changes, at which every player with more intensive game experience immediately cries out.

    I grow as HA player - and i want to pass all possible content as HA player with other HA players.
    I do not care a lot of how balance will look like if it will be fare and possible to do.

    The same time i like game play i have now on my favorite build. I think the same is for all other players - can players with not top DPS already stop getting nerfs of our DPS pls ?
