in groups no-one would run an ice staff dps at all if you give minor brittle to a class. that's the only thing holding it up at the moment.

I haven't PvE'd seriously in over a year, but when I was, pretty much every tank I knew ran an ice staff back bar with clench on their bar, which has a 100% chance to chill and applies Major Maim as well as Minor Brittle, so I'm not quite sure I follow the logic that Wardens can't have Minor Brittle in their kit because of redundancy. It's already redundant, is it not?

Having a frost staff dps in the group allows those supports to not worry about having high uptime on brittle in aoe. It's basically the only flimsy reason left for the whole argument.

Scorch/deep fissure is the most challenging skill to hit with in pvp, imo, because pvp is about speed and movement and roll dodging, and lining up scorch on a good player requires considerable skill.

Magden struggles hard in pvp because its skills are slow (scorch, cliff diver, fetcher infection).

Any change that slows down these skills makes magden even less viable in pvp,

scorch is not a dot and warden is already terrible. This scorch change is the last nail for the class if it goes through at least for pvp
