Several years ago when the studio made a change to some of the armor motifs there was a policy implemented that stated that the studio would never again change current in game assets like that. So with that in mind I am going to assume that this "change" is a bug. One of my characters is wearing the Knight of the Circle Pauldrons using the Frozen Blood dye. The first picture is that from the Live Server, note that the other "metal" parts of her armor is also dyed with Frozen Blood. However as we can see on the second picture from the PTS, the Pauldrons have now shifted to a distinct red color, rather than a shiny metal one. So I am gonna assume that this is a bug since the other armor pieces did not also change color.
