Not the early access code is my problem. it is the missing mail with the code to verify that my pc (with a new ip) is allowed to use the account.

Oh, the one-time code. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Could you temporarily turn off your computer's firewall and try sending the one-time code again. It's also possible that the email is being blocked by your email domain. Could you add noreply@mail.elderscrollsonline.com to your email's whitelist/contacts list?

I deactivated my firewall, added noreply@mail.elderscrollsonline.com to my contacts. It didn't help.

I also tried to contact the support for changing my mailaddress to gmail and I'm still waiting for the answer. :\

I was not given an early access code form the store that I preorder my game from because I preordered it before the keys were given out. I did not know this until. Thursday night I to went to the store to get the code and they were not able to give me any answers, but directed me to call there corporate office which I promptly did. They told me that they were not given enough 5 day codes to give out and had therefor run out of the codes and asked that I contact Zeimax to possibly get what I had paid for. So I requested a phone call and received an email instead stating:

    Hello

I know its frustrating, getting bounced around like this, it seems to be an emerging issue with game codes a few customer have recently received their codes.

Thank you for your continued interest and support!

I purchased the Imperial edition from my local Game Stop. This was before the codes were given for the 5 day prepay. So I stopped by the store to find out how I could get the code. The manager there could not find out how I could get it and he referred me to there corporate office to see if I could get the 5 day code from them. I did that and they said that they were not given enough codes for the 5 day. I paid for the 5 day code, so I would like what I paid for.

I responded to this e-mail in the morning yesterday and still have yet to receive an answer.

    1) I did not request an email I requested a phone call.

    2) This does not help me as the fact that other people are getting there codes makes me feel worse that I do not have mine.

    3) I paid for a product that had a promise of 5 days of early access and yet I do not have it.

I would like my 5 day access code or some other compensation, because this is unfair to me. I paid for something and I am not getting it.

EXACT same problem here. I bought Imperial Edition, still no access code email. I'm using Gmail. I already sent a ticket about this. Reference # 140330-024032.

I want what I paid for. I am missing game time that I was promised because of this nonsense.

Same problem here. I've tried at least 20 times to get an access code waiting 10 minutes every time and still nothing. Anyone was finally able to get the one-time access code ?

I preordered my physical Imperial edition on 2/4, no code.. I've called Best Buy twice about it. The last time they said they "ran out" and it will take 24 to 48 hours to send a new one. That cuts my 5 day early access (which I paid for) down to three... so now I resort to begging Zenimax to take pity on me.

If you bought from Bethesda then go into your account and then click on Billing history and your code is on that page
    Options
  • scottius_ESO
This is the problem - people are buying the game on the ESO website, their bank accounts are being charged, they are receiving a confirmation email, however nothing is reflected in their billing history on their account, nor is "early access" listed on their account status.

No, it's not. If it was that simple there wouldn't be four threads about this very problem.

Hey there, everyone. There seems to be some confusion as there are two separate issues being discussed in this thread. The original post of this thread is about users not receiving the OTP access codes via email, which are needed to play the game on an unrecognized computer. If you're experiencing this issue, be sure to open a ticket so that a member of our Support Team can better assist you.

If you're unable to log in during 5-day Early Access due to a login error, please be aware that we're currently investigating an issue causing a delay between a payment being made and the associated game account being activated. We'll provide an update as soon as we can. In the meantime, we ask that you open a help ticket. Thank you all for your patience.

    Hello again!

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online Team.

We would recommend that you go directly to the store from which the prepurchase was made and try to have them pull your access code from your preorder history. Again, as this prepurchase was made through a retailer, we will be unable to assist you with any issues relating to the code associated with that prepurchase.

    Greetings!

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online Team.

We are very sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your preorder from Gamestop. However, as they are a stand-alone retailer, we would highly advise you to contact them and discuss this matter further with them. As you have made you pre-purchase at a retailer, we will be unable to provide you an early access code for that pre-purchase.

I never received an OTP access code via email, after 6 login attempts. That to me speaks more than an early access code. And yet, I get email spam from TESO to the account, and "badge" notifications from forums. Hmmm....
I have opened three tickets, and have not received any response over the several hours. I imagine help desk is swamped, and I do hope they are working here in the US and are not the 10 rupees on the dollar help desk agents in Bangalore. This does not bode well for further performance, I am not confident you can put out a stable product at this point if you can't manage simple two factor authentication protocols.

I have three tickets open over the last 48 hours, the first to report that I didn't get a one time access code. Quick response from tech support was to send me a forum access. Second ticket to tell them that they didn't solve my problem. Third ticket today requested a phone reply that hasn't happened in 8 hours.

I had the same issue. Log a consumer complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0341-file-complaint-ftc

GameStop and ZOS did not make the terms clear and it needs investigation. So many of us have been ignored by both entities.

Can't speak for Gamestop, but I will pursue that link. Thanks. Also, the fact that you can't call an 800 support number is complete horsesh**- they call you? When? in 120 hrs? By then Early access is over, they got your money, you got no playing time. I preordered Mar2nd. Wish I knew then what I know now.
