Maybe we're not doing a good enough highlighting that this bug is still present.

Here, I'll give it a shot.

The Tales of Tribute bug where Isobel does not give credit for the achievement when you accept, win or lose a duel with her present is still happening.

Well patch notes for PTS 8.1.1 came out and no mention of an isobel's favor fix. really just wanna get that boss drops upgrade item

Its still ongoing for me as well, I've tested it each time an incremental patch drops.

I don’t understand why they won’t fix this, they literally made it so the Tales of Tribute Master achievement worked properly (by making it harder to get) on the very first patch. I just want Isobel’s keepsake! @ZOS_Kevin

I still can’t believe this isn’t fixed after this latest patch. I don’t understand how hard this can be to fix? Isobel gets the rapport for accepting a duel they just need to properly connect it with the achievement.

Finished Ember today. I didn't start on her until this bugged achievement was the last thing for Isobel, and I absolutely hate grinding.

The team is aware and working on a fix. No ETA on when that fix is coming, but we’ll check on Monday to see if there is any updated info.

Awesome! Much appreciated! I understand that fixes aren't as simple as pushing a button, especially with a game like ESO, and even a single mention as simple as 'we are aware and working on it' is an immense help for many of us. Also keeps people from constantly badgering you guys on whether the bugs that people are having issues with are going to get fixed soon (soon being relative).

Just clarifying if I may - does the duel mean fighty-fighty type duel, or ToT duel? :-)

Seems like it is still bugged if it's the fighty-fighty type :-(

its supposed to be an actual duel, not the card game duel (you get rapport for doing the fighty duel still, but not achievement credit)

This isn't acceptable, if they can't fix it now, they should remove that requirement and allow it to complete. This has been broken too long and it blocks content.

I know it's still bugged in zones but does Isobel as a house guest and dueling in said house work as a workaround

Logically this shouldn't be possible, after all that version of Isobel is only a piece of furniture and you don't have Isobel the companion out. But you can always try.

Breton, Redguard, Orc, Bosmer, Nord, Darkelf, Imperial

so these are left to try if anyone wants:
Highelf, Khajiit, Argonian

That's an incredibly vague description of the fix for an achievement. There are 5 parts to Isobel's Favor. Are we sure they are even talking about a fix for the clearly bugged duel portion? Perhaps there is an edge case situation where you can't get the "Craft a Candy Provisioning Item" if you're an Imperial or some such silliness and that's what this fix is for.

If this is in fact a fix for the "Accept a Duel" portion, why wouldn't they just say that? It feels like the wording is vague for no reason.

A "race condition" is a technical term. It does not mean an ESO race. A race condition is a flaw in a system or process where the result is unexpected and dependent upon a sequence or timing of other events; thus resulting in a failure or bug.
