you would think it would have been easy for them to implement the "silent" option lol
I think companions would be better if they had a wider variety of comments and it wouldn't seem so tedious if they did. Mine are set to infrequent, and that's been fine with me as I do still appreciate the occasional "For Glory" from Bastion. Makes going into battle feel more adventurous, but I would hate it to hear that, or any other comment, every time. A wider range of voice lines would take out the repetitiveness.

Getting closer and closer to having the companions silent! lol
Thank you ZOS for this change! Keep it coming!

Has to take my Bosmer to Mornholm and see if she get that response. On an Khajiit after playing trough 3.5 Bosmer zones yes this one has seen more Bosmers than she wantedI'm happy for the folks who appreciate this change. For me, personally, after Stuga and "Dragons in my Homeland" and "What? Haven't you ever seen a wood elf before?" I've become an expert at tuning out repetitive dialogue. The companion's comments don't cause me any bother.
I would prefer that they work on improving the companions in combat - maybe tweak the abilities that don't translate well to NPCs - and let us deconstruct companion gear, or let the companions hold their own extra gear, or something else to improve the QoL drop we now have with inventory due to using them and getting gear drops. And add an in-game toggle for interacting with them so they aren't so much in the way.
But that's just me. Maybe we can get some of that stuff next time around.
I want them to factor in what's been going on. Mirri talking about chilling out at the inn annoys me when I've just logged in. In game, we just left the inn and now it is time to kill stuffl and get gold.

That's great, but I'm rather fond of Bastian. I wish they'd add some lines to our existing companions too.LoneStar2911 wrote: »The 2 companions we get in the High Isle chapter are supposed to have more variety than Mirri and Bastian.

Can I just turn my banker off, in the house? That would be great.
