[REQUEST] Restore Indriks

Simple - some people joined after the hype for indriks began, and didn't manage to collect all of them.

Whether one considers them to be 'ugh-lee' or not, I'd really wish I could complete my collection.

Why not making them into a collectible pieces that can drop from WBs, or from Summerset rewards coffers - this would take away the need to purchase Event tickets, thus enabling ZOS to focus what they had planned.

Adding the pieces to Summerset rewards coffers is a pretty good idea.

As someone who started playing the game last year, so do not have one of those mounts. I appreciate rewards that reflect that someone played during a specific period of time.

Have a guildmate that has a senche mount that was apparently a reward for first-year subscribers and has never been available to anyone who did not subscribe for that first year. Those who started subscribing a few months before the reward was given did not get the mount.

I think these things are great and it basically tells people these things are special.

There is some hope. If you go onto PTS and check the area just west of the guild traders in Craglorn, you will see a number of empty stalls, maybe 15 or so and at one of them there is a Nacent Indrik, which may mean we haven't seen the last of them. Possibly there will be an event that will allow you to earn past rewards, including the Indriks. With the next planned event being in June (I'm assuming after the chapter release), it could be included there.

This is all just speculation of course, but it's something.

I have a half-finished opaline indrik I always wanted to complete. My AC unit leaked above my PC tower and my PC was out of commission for some time while those events were going on - I have the dawnmead, luminous, and onyx ones from that year, but missed the last couple berries for the opaline. I did ask support at the time if they'd take crowns and add the items so I could finish it, but sadly they said no. I hope I get the opportunity to complete it sometime.

They may be reluctant to add them now thinking it could detract from future participation in events. They are a reward for completing something.
We had account wide achievements forced on us though so maybe they will come back.

I recently suggested in another thread that on weekends the Impressario or someone like her could show up and sell old event rewards for a ton of gold. Currently we don't have a lot of things we can spend gold on so something like this should totally be a thing. Originally I imagined one million per original ticket cost would be a good price, but that would put a single evolved indrik at 80 million so maybe not. But 1.6 million for an Indrik seems fine. It is meant to be an exclusive item after all and we shouldn't devalue doing the events when they actually happen.
Otherwise what would be the point in participating if you can later buy the stuff for cheap?

They could always add them as another option. I mean, options are never a bad idea. Give people some different options and more might participate. And on that note, give options to earn more tickets as well.

They had a sale of Evergloam Indrik just 2 months ago. Event indriks, if you missed it, so be it.

I have all the indriks I really want; the ones I don't have are those I don't consider attractive. But that's just me - I'd like those who didn't get the one(s) they wanted to have the opportunity.

I LOVE indriks. Those who don't love them, fine - but others should be able to love them too.

I just wish I could get the ones I did earn on the PS4 on my PC account - same account no matter how much verbal gymnastics some use to claim a true difference.

PS - I would love to have been able to not waste tickets on ~47 Impressario Group Repair Kits, to use on these mounts (furnishings, anything, really). How many Indriks could I have with ~100 tickets spent, y’know?

I agree they should be available again. I have all the indriks and I really like them. I think it's a real shame that other people who like them can't get them just because they weren't able to play during the one specific period they were available.

Also I've found the newer ticket items a lot less appealing. That's purely personal taste of course and I completely understand they couldn't just keep offering indriks forever. But there's never going to be an item which absolutely everyone wants, certainly not an endless stream of them so ZOS can offer 5 different ones each year. Keeping older event items available would be a great way to increase the possibility that everyone will be able to find something they like and therefore have an incentive to participate in events.

Maybe they could do something like the master writ vendors where a second NPC was added to keep offering the older items as sets.

I have all the berries for a Spectral Indrik, but no Nascent Indrik to actually convert into Spectral.

If nothing else, I believe the Nascent Indrik should be permanently available (but its component feathers reduced in cost from 10 tickets to 5, comparing with the components of the Unstable Morpholith or the Soulfire Dragon Illusion).

I have the Tiger Senche and all the other loyalty rewards from the first year or so of the game and I'm happy they have never been re-released!

I don't have all the Indrik's but tbh neither do I want them, however it would be nice if those that do could collect them somehow, maybe the Impressario's Assistant could sell them? 😃

The game is eight years old at this point. Some of the people playing today may conceivably have been in grade school when the game came out, why make them miss out because they weren’t old enough to buy a game rated 18+?

Bring them back, I say.

While I think 99.9999% of the community would love this, just knowing ZOS I don’t think it’s going to happen. Adding any sort of consistently earnable in game mounts from playing the game is out of their playbook. Seals of endeavor and events aside, there’s not really any sort of method for players to grind out mounts and stuff like in other MMOs.

The problem is they gain a lot of money every event with sales of the event tickets through the crown store so I see them bringing them back in the future but more likely through a coffer system like previously stated where players will spend in game earned event tickets or have to purchase through the crown store. Sad but probably true even though it’s not what the player base wants. [snip]

Awesome! Thanks for posting that @fizl101. That's sure to make some people happy - as long as they don't turn out to cost gazoolas more than originally.

Hallelujah, I can finally get that one feather I needed for my final Indrik- Ironically I have all of them through doing events EXCEPT the nascent because I forgot about my final tickets the last morning they were available! This makes me quite happy, I can complete the collection. I only wish they'd put that purple Indrik in the vendor instead of making it obscenely expensive in the cash shop >_>

That's very good news!

I have all the indrik mounts, but not all the pets. I often skipped those in order to make sure I had enough tickets for the mounts, since I often miss chunks of festivals due to being away (especially New Life, which I think gives the most tickets).

Now they're focusing on items I don't like as much I often find myself unsure what to do with the tickets I do get, so being able to get the pets I missed will be nice.

Honestly the only things I hope they never rerelease are the rewards that are

1 - cosmetic only

2 - noted as exclusive at the time they were given

The striped senche or other original loyalty rewards, specifically, are a nice touch to show the OGs some love, when they can't keep up with every single thing coming out these days.

Everything else is fair game, and should be. I can understand if they don't do certain rewards - like some holiday exclusives, for example, but so long as they keep on making exclusives everyone has a chance to get something. It's a bit of an account fingerprint that shows when you were playing and what level you were at at, the time. Like how I have a bunch of the ESO+ statuettes, but am also missing a few.

Reading patch notes made me stupidly happy today. Love indriks and can't wait to get missing ones from 2019.
