PLEASE ZOS let us turn full sets of motifs pages into books!

We need some mechanism at like, the mystic or something where if we have all 14 pages of a motif and buy a whatever-you-want-to-call-it or do the whatever-thing-you-implement, it changes all those pages into a full motif gold book.

The space management for motifs in this game is bonkers; there's over 100 motifs now, and at 14 pages each, that's a heck of a lot of storage space needed. Some of you gather the gold "learn all pages of a motif at once" books to collect rather than to use/learn. Great. Fantastic. I don't care. 1400+ slots of storage space needed is so ridiculous, it's ridonkulous.

Honest question, why would you keep them all? I either need and use them, donate them to my guild, or sell them.

Events like this one (and others) cause them to drop like crazy, and we only have five guilds that MAYBE all have a trader, if we're lucky. Sure that's 30 slots per guild, but people sell more than just straight motifs all day every day, so they stack up over time, especially for someone who's been playing since beta.

Ahh ok, so you are hanging on to them to sell them later, got it.

My work around BTW for too little storage space, was wait for the $5 sale (or free week) and get 10 more accounts and create extra guilds just for storage. Would work great for Motifs, since they are tradeable.

Bad idea. There are actually collectors who collect every golden book in game and paid many hundred millions for them already.

Honestly it would go a long way towards space management. Just make it an orange book or something so distinctive from the Collector's stuff.

I don't think this idea would really help much with the storage issue. Why? Well, take the psijic ambrosia recipe fragments, for example; let's say I have...

• 4x fragment 1
• 5x fragment 2
• 9x fragment 3
• 3x fragment 4
• 6x fragment 5
• 4x fragment 6
• 7x fragment 7

Because they stack, they're taking up 7 slots. Let's go combine them! Now I have...

• 1x fragment 1
• 2x fragment 2
• 6x fragment 3
• 3x fragment 5
• 1x fragment 6
• 4x fragment 7
• 3x full recipes

Hmm, still 7 slots. You'll get maximum space savings only if you have the same number of each chapter. But with an uneven distribution, the savings can be reduced, sometimes rather significantly.

And... how exactly is that relevant? "Oh no, these items will be less rare and their value will now be that of their constituent parts instead of artificially inflated! The horror!" Yea, well, welcome to a MMO, where things that once were rare are not, and things that once were common can become rare.

I think it cooler as an idea to sell them as complete sets than it is as a way to save space.
