    The super long load screens are still happening. Login issues sporadically. Group finder issues. It’s like multiple different systems are effected. And it gets progressively worse throughout the day till prime time.

    Few weeks ago the ZOS team wanted to know what they could better communicate? This is a prime example. Talk to us, tell us what’s going on, what’s causing it? Is it only PCNA?

    It would be nice to hear at least a "we're looking into it" recognition of the problem.
    You can't sprint and use abilities at the same time.

    This is very disappointing. It's worse for loading characters than before. Long load screens still here.

    I'm starting to wonder if they cut costs before the pandemic then when they needed stuff they couldn't get it. Or if they just never cared at all.

    And I feel genuinely bad for the staff because I am sure this is a PTB decision. I can only imagine the stress on them to try to make stuff work when the design was probably not great and the equipment is probably old and not updated well. That's a job that must be very stressful and truly suck at times.

    Over 5 minutes sitting in "requesting character load" until it finally loaded, then did my endeavors and tried to port to my house which resulted in getting kicked back to log-in during the load screen. Got back in eventually, made it to my house the second time after *another* very long load screen, left the house, got kicked to log-in during the *very long* load screen again... Yeah, it's great :) they're absolutely killing it

    You shouldn't just wait with that. There isn't actually a queue. Just leave queue and try to log in again. Rinse repeat til it actually works.

    I think they have to shut servers down and redo maint.

    They need to shut down the servers and leave them off, time to move on.

    This comment shouldn't be buried in a post where someone titles it well.... how is it now? If you want to tell your customers that an official response is coming, please do it somewhere we can all easily find it.

    It isn't only PC. Xbox na been getting these log in que, dc, long loading screens, etc, and yes, usually the same time as PC(and I live east U.S.A.) and we haven't had the patch yet(maybe some background dl, I dunno) my guild and friends the same, and they are all over on time zones and even continents.

    I can log in fine. But when I try to load a character, I get a message that the character is not available.

    tried to goto one of my houses and got kicked back to login.

    now back to the character load spin spin spin again.


    been on the reapers load screen for about 10-15 mins, now. :/

    Maybe this is why everything broke. They are hiring for some of the positions needed to fix it all.

    Looks like they should have taken the full time for maintenance and double checked their work. This is horrid...just horrid. I am stuck at a retrieving character screen. Everything seems to be out of sync based on all the threads of house issues, porting and such. Someone didn't check their dependencies on the dbase did they????

    Can't log into characters, Can't log out of characters, infinite load screens just to name a few of the problems. All I've tried to do so far is crafting writs.

    Managed Crafting Writs on 4 characters - after very long over 1 min, one over 5 min, loading times. It seems like every character was placed in cold storage in the sharding process. However it seems more than that. I managed to get into a random queue this morning on a tank character. But loading into the dungeon took 5 minutes and the rest were already at the first boss. Tried going into Imperial City... campaigns at first did not even load up. Then finally they did. Chose to enter Imperial City campaign... pressed "F" to get in... and screen locked in place for 5 min. I then just went to windows task manager and ended the ESO process. Clearly the process of sharding and cold storage has issues.

    The servers are basically unplayable for me.
    I can't login, everything is stuck on "Retrieving character data" or whatever, and won't even let me see my character screen. And even on the rare cases where it deigns to allow me in game, the load screens are well over 10 if not 15 minutes to zone anywhere, including in/out of dungeons.

    For a game that relies so heavily on zoning around, this is completely UNACCEPTABLE.

    We've been patient this entire week waiting for today's maintenance to alleviate these issues but now they are *drastically* worse. Take the servers back offline and FIX this.

    I'm fairly certain that no one would care how long it takes, as long as it was *right* and playable when you are done.
    FIX IT.

    In addition I did get an Error 318 this morning... saying I was "spamming the server". All I was trying to do was read and grab attachments from 5 emails. That led to the error. Hmmmm....

    That is quite an extensive hiring list considering we were told earlier this year to expect less content due to various Covid related issues.

    Somehow things are even worse than the previous week for log ins and loading screens. Something is seriously wrong and it's unlikely that " many players are logging in " is the cause. Too many things are more broken than ever - maybe the people who know how to avoid breaking / fix them have left ?
