Is there an addon for backing up Achievments data before update 33?

I don't want to lose the date records of achievements earned by all my characters, but it's a pretty extensive list to copy them all manually or take screenshots.

Do you know if anyone has created an addon to export or save all our current achievement data?

I truly think it's adding a second layer of screw-you to the whole removal of individuality and replayability, to actually rub in our face that this achievement was earned by "MuleMaster" instead of our main....

Glad someone posted this... going to follow this topic in case there are any developments; I was going to ask this question myself.

When cp points changed, some nice person made it so you could save and export the old builds and more easily re-apply them back to the new system. Sadly, I did not notice that this add-on was released until it was too late... would like to NOT make that mistake for achievements, if possible!

Don't want to turn this into a debate about AwA but before someone inevitably asks "who cares, why do you want this?" I will explain.

I am on a Dungeon Team where I'm the healer. Our goal has been to clear all dungeons with speed mode, hard mode, and no death. We're down to our last five dungeons. The team has been talking about how it might be fun to start over with different roles - I might switch to a DPS, for example, and the tank might try healing, or whatever. (I just want to add, we've been talking about this for at least six months or more as we've worked our way through the dungeons... this is not something we just decided to do after AwA was announced.) We were going to do different characters for this. The rules are simple - if one of the four of us doesn't have one of the achievements, we get it as a team. If we all received it separately, we skip it. Therefore I'd really love to be able to download and export all the dungeon achievements on my characters without having to fill them out manually. Our team has discussed moving to spreadsheets outside of the game to track our progress, since we won't be able to do this in game anymore (we'll have all the achievements on our accounts from doing them on our first dungeon team).

I am not going to make a new account just to do this, since I have lots of lovely characters on my current account I would enjoy using. But I don't have time to figure out how to make add-ons right now and it would be super awesome if someone figured out a way to export the data. I know there are add-ons that track and show which characters have done which dungeons and which ones have achieved speed, HM, and no death... someone just needs to figure out how to save that data locally. Anyway, it would be nice! I really would like to have which characters have completed which trials and the special achievements for those, too.. but it is unlikely at this point, given everything, that I'll actually spend the time to progress another character in another role through all the trials. But the dungeon team thing... I'd still like to do this and it's a lot of data entry to get done in a week or so. I have ~12 "serious" characters that have seen real end game content - two for each class.

Sorry for going a little OT. Would it be possible to create an add-on that would notify players on alt chars of the steps necessary to achieve a trifecta?

Something similar to Combat Metrics (where we could see, after the fact, which parts of a trifecta were completed), or Combat Alerts (less permanent, a pop-up that would alert players when they fulfilled the requirements for a trifecta), or even ESO Logs.

It isn't an optimal solution as it would leave out console players, but it would help PC players to be able to keep track of trifectas on their alts.

I've been thinking of starting what I'm calling a "prog dungeon" group - similar to what @peacenote is doing - and an add-on that could somehow notify us of trifectas after we already earned it once would be very welcome.

You have to log in to each character after you install for it to register the achievements for it.

When I heard about AwA, I thought it was going to be like Kyoma's, where you can see your different characters achievements in a drop-down (but with an added account overview). I would be a lot happier now if that had been the case.

Thank you! This addon does what I was looking for. Now I just need to back up the saved variables file (which, by the way, for my 18 characters is 13.3 MB in size - I can see why ZOS is trying to shrink its database).

I don't know if it will continue working the same way after the update, but I can use the info from https://esoitem.uesp.net/viewlog.php?record=achievements to check the ID of each achievement and parse the raw data. Maybe I can learn how to transform it into a readable list or spreadsheet.

Huh, maybe I will give the new DLC a shot after all. Maybe there will be more good choices by the Devs once they get the ball rolling.
Did they get a new main dev or something. Someone with actual community spirit?

I’m surprised this thread is the first you’ve heard about this but I highly recommend checking out the Account-wide achievements official feedback thread.
While the vast majority of players do want account-wide achievements (we’ve asked this for a long time), it’s being implemented in a way that is very upsetting for a lot of players and full of bugs.

FYI in my particular scenario I won’t be affected by any of the downsides so next patch is going to be a great benefit for me. I realize how much this will suck for a lot of people though

While the vast majority of players do want account-wide achievements (we’ve asked this for a long time), it’s being implemented in a way that is very upsetting for a lot of players and full of bugs.

This is an example of how many more that don't know this is coming, or think it's going to one thing and then find out it will be something else. Enjoy your broken account wide achievements. Without addons, have fun tracking where your characters are at, what delves and bosses you actually completed on an alt, have fun being locked out of certain quests that were tied to achievements, and have fun engaging with a broken game world where narrative cohesion and NPC dialogue and choices don't acknowledge what that alt actually did or did not do.

I stopped playing about half a year ago. I only occasionally come here to look if something sparks my interest to play again.
