Leave it in your mail and see if it actually expires. I don't trust them on this.
Was kinda let down all I got was that letter. No final conversation, no final quest. Just a letter i ended up reading on a character who'd never even met her.

When you max out your rapport enough to get their keep sake they send you a letter in the mail.

Ah, that explains why I'm clueless about it, because I've maximized my basic rapport with them, but haven't done the other parts that give you their keepsakes.

I have no clue what Bastion's Keepsake does, because I've barely touched that cheese-hater, but Mirri's is kinda neat in that
it works even when she's not actively summoned, and that effect is account-wide. You can get those little Hidden Treasure bags on your characters who haven't even unlocked her.
