What would you add to Endeavours Daily & Weekly?

Truthfully what would you guys add to endeavors, since it is end-game content? This is a discussion that the ESO community needs to talk about and address your ideas for more Daily and weekly or a Monthly (a true grind), and a seasonally Endeavour too. Also, the good, bad, and ugly of Endeavours as well.

I would have some older crown store items that aren't in any crates and haven't been on sale in a long time put into the seals store at about the price it would be if it had gotten added to a crate instead.

I would add an endeavor for fileting 3 fish, scrying an antiquity (rather than only excavating), and an activity for eating a cheese based dish or eating a sweetroll. The reason for the latter two being that they tie into the lore as special actions.

Endeavors aren't endgame content, not in the slightest. That would be if we were asked to rub vet trials or HM DLC achieves or something. Even the more time-consuming ones like "7 dungeons" or "afflict 250 enemies with poison" aren't endgame.

That said, they pretty much have Endeavors for everything. I'd say maybe add one for doing Master Writs, but that would likely make the people who don't have Master Crafters upset. There are people who get mad that that they can't complete all five offered Endeavors, even though you can only do three every day, same for one out of three weekly ones.
    Character List [RP and PvE]:

Krisiel: Redguard Stamsorc DPS - Literally crazy Werewolf, no like legit insane. She nuts
Kiju Veran: Khajiit Stamblade DPS - Ex-Fighters Guild Suthay who likes to punch things, nicknamed Tinykat
Niralae Elsinal: Altmer Stamsorc DPS - Young Altmer with way too much Magicka
Sarah Lacroix: Breton Magsorc DPS - Fledgling Vampire who drinks too much water
Slondor: Nord Tankblade - TESified verson of Slenderman
Marius Vastino: Imperial <insert role here> - Sarah's apathetic sire who likes to monologue
Delthor Rellenar: Dunmer Magknight DPS - Sarah's ex who's a certified psychopath
Lirawyn Calatare: Altmer Magplar Healer - Traveling performer and bard who's 101% vanilla bean
Gondryn Beldeau: Breton Tankplar - Sarah's Mages Guild mentor and certified badass old person
Gwendolyn Jenelle: Breton Magplar Healer - Friendly healer with a coffee addiction
Soliril Larethian- Altmer Magblade DPS - Blind alchemist who uses animals to see and brews plagues in his spare time
Tevril Rallenar: Dunmer Stamcro DPS - Delthor's "special" younger brother who raises small animals as friends

I would add extra "quests" during events. For example: Midyear Mayhem, in addition to 3 standard quests we have 2 special ones focusing on taking part in the event. It should make events more popular instead of "just get those tickets and be done with it".

Also i would add furnishings from crowns store shop (those that u can check in your home) to the rewards.

I thought by that he just meant they are time consuming to get anything good, so the average person will be well-established before they actually get anything useful and no longer a new player. I didn't see it as a comment on difficulty because of course they are extremely easy. They already added one for Master writs and I don't think anyone was upset. I think the only time people got upset was when there wasn't 3 endeavors that couldn't be easily done without DLC, which I remember because I wrote a small writeup on how they could kill a dragon without DLC to help people out with that day.

:D People get upset about anything, There was a massive uproar in one of my guilds because an endeavor was to harvest a psj portal and that zos was "asking too much" because that endeavor was messing with the persons ability somehow to like...gather runenodes....despite getting rune nodes out of like...the portals. :D

I might add activities that are fun and possibly a bit goofy, like climbing to the top of the rigging of a ship and dancing, or riding your mount toward the edge of a tall cliff and leaping over while yelling "Flying mounts!" in zone chat.

But I'd like to see more housing ones like place a painting, turn on a music box, visit 3 different houses for example.

Them being a grind doesn't make them endgame though, it just makes them tedious, and frustrating that ZOS has steadily been lowering the amount we get as though we can't track the data and see that decline.

I didn't know there was one for Master Writs already. I haven't seen it, or at least don't remember seeing it, but I have the memory of a dead gnat so that's not saying much.

I think a fishing endeavor would be good. Nothing that would take more than a couple of minutes to complete.

Read a book might be good. Anywhere with a bookshelf would work.

We should celebrate Day of the Dead with things like die to slaugherfish, die jumping off cliff, die to enemy player, die to group boss and because of all the dying an endeavor for repairing armor.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

Daily: catch 5 fish (any type). Weekly: catch 2 rare fish.
Either: murder 1 citizen in all 5 main zones of a single alliance (not counting the starter islands).
Either: buy or sell goods to merchants in 5 (daily) or 20 (weekly) towns/cities.
Daily: die 3 times, to different causes. Weekly: die 15 times to at least 5 different causes.

I really like it when they have things I'd do anyway, so possibly things like...

    Type in guild chat.
    Use an assistant 3 times.
    Teleport to a house.
    Teleport 25 times (for weekly/monthly).
    Use your map 4 times.
Accept loot from a mail 3 times.
List an item in a guild store.
    Wave to a player.

I really dislike the pickpocket and steal ones because my companions get annoyed and I don't like micromanaging when they are out or not.

I like PvP but I don't PvP every play session, so I don't enjoy those endeavors as much, particularly for the dailies, because they tend to be a little more time consuming. I have to specifically go into instanced content I probably wouldn't have done that day.
My #1 wish for ESO Today: Decouple achievements from character progress and tracking.

Nope. They try to make at 3 accessible usually but don't make it so that all 5 have to be. They have endeavors for master writs and that require dlc zones too.

I like the endeavors just fine as they are. It is very rare I cannot complete three of the daily choices and one of the weekly choices. Even given my elf's list of limitations regarding endeavors:

Won't do: Trials, Arenas, kill innocents, BGs.
Can't be bothered: Anything in Cyrodiil unless it is during a double AP event.

PC NA(no Steam), PvE, mostly solo

Ah, okay. In that case, maybe do 3 easy ones for 10 - 15 seals each and the harder ones for 20 - 25 each.

I wish them to be gone for those reasons:

    1. I believe ESO started as an immersive game, where you can play as you want. This is against it. It is also sad how they cannot implement immersive guild system, where I could progress my character in my own pace, like it was in Skyrim/Morrowind, but suddenly it is possible when they copy paste free to play mechanics from other games, which has nothing in common with RPG TES world.

    2. it doesn't make anything better to have less of endavours or more of them - if you make them cheap, it will be just free cosmetics, which could lead to removal of other free cosmetics from the game. if you make them grindy, it will be worse for the players. For me the alternative of buying crown crate cosmetics in another time for crowns is still better than this - I don't need free reward, which was originally created in pvp games with no content to keep players engaged in an online game for longer time, which is different purpose than this endavours and thus by making it an alternative to lootboxes is a lie.

For me the best option to feel engaged in an online game is a lot of optional immersive /meaningful progressions of a character for all kinds of players with good rewards, but it seems like it is never an option in MMOs.

I would add nothing and them disappearing completely wouldn't affect me in the slightest. It is a dumb system designed to create a virtual utopia where everyone can have everything. This system doesn't exist IRL, and really doesn't need to in a game either. While I am adamantly against ZOS's complete monetization of most cool things in the game, I would much rather see those things be earnable via questing, achievements, events and other such in-game activities... not a simple login, do your daily 1 minute chore and save up enough points, just to placate the legal systems in a few countries.

Regarding endeavor activities, I would add absolutely nothing. With how certain daily endeavors are only applicable to specific DLC areas, it runs counter to their "free-to-play" advertisement to include dailies which can only be done by buying dlc. We already have a few dailies that cannot be done without certain DLC.

Let us not forget that Daily login rewards were meant to do what Endeavors do now, encourage people to log in every day; but those quickly fizzled out just like Endeavors are starting to do now. It would seem the only reason endeavors were added in the first place was to side-step legal issues concerning gamble crates. The limited time offers coupled with 6+ months of endeavors to get enough seals for a Radiant apex mount shows that they never intended for endeavors to replace gambling, though they now have a technical excuse to the contrary.

None of this would have been an issue if they had made the game more rewarding to play in the first place. The ratio of what you can earn via gameplay vs what you can buy/gamble for in the store is just too disparate. Warframe may get flack for being a grindy f2p game but at least it has better alternatives (including official support for trading cash shop currency like crowns) the stuff you can earn there is as good - if not better - than what you can buy outright.
