It's receiving a buff on PTS so yes, people are responding to the proposed changes that will make it much more prevalent again in PVP.
Which, to be fair, is a terrible idea. We lost a tremendous amount of players during that meta, and it became challenging to find decent fights outside of primetime in open world PVP. We should not replicate that failure.
The solution, as always, is simple. Separate PVP and PVE values for gear/skills.
Yes, buffing Dark Convergence is toxic in PVP. Not buffing Dark Convergence leaves it barely useful in PVE.
So no matter what, one group is going to be unhappy.
I dont understand the hate behind this set.
Its a nuisance to be sure, but hardly insurmountable.
Its fairly easy to avoid and/or escape.
I just dont get whats wrong with it.

Because when you've got the kind of people who it should be used on present your skills fire erraticallly and there is 3 seconds of lag. At that point DC rubber bands people, blocking and dodging don't fire for several seconds and so on.
If PvP lag actually got fixed it might not be so bad.
It is however still hugely overpowered in PvE. I should not be able to clock over 200k dps on trash packs with a far from optimal PvE stam warden using it; especially given the fact it is going to get a boost in U33

The set is apparently triggered by "casting abilities that leave a ground effect" my question is that does this get triggered by ANYONE casting a ground effect or by the wearer casting a ground effect?
I'm getting murdilated regularly in Battlegrounds by this (and likely also Plaguebreak) and I still don't entirely understand what is happening
