New Group Dungeon System

Personally, I rush through dungeons because idc about the dungeon, I want the reward, and the fault is that the game pairs me with people who don't share my playstyle. Because I'm not going to wait around for people when I'm only here for transmutes and I have 8 more characters and 8 more queues to wait through and 8 more dungeons I have to do, and those people who want to experience the quest shouldn't have to rush through to keep up with me.

This is the problem. The problem is not the dungeon finder, or the get to the final boss mechanic, the problem is that people want transmute crystals and that is all. They're not interested in the dungeon, or getting the XP, or anything else.

Originally you could only get transmute crystals from PvP, and then random dungeons became the way to get them in PvE.

I suggest: separate transmute crystals from group play. Take them out of random normal dungeons, and make them part of regular dailies, including writs, undaunted dailies, the craglorn dailies, the dailies in all the DLC areas and wherever there are dailies I don't even know about.

You get one transmute crystal for doing a pledge, so add one transmute crystal to the rewards of every available daily. Do all the writs - you get six transmute crystals (there are six writs, aren't there?). This way people aren't forced to do dungeons they hate, with groups they despise, with eight characters and eight queues - they can grind the dailies they enjoy or would do anyway, and get their transmute crystals on as many characters as they feel like grinding. And if you have just one character, and feel up to doing every single daily in the game every single day, great.

    Another Solution...

    Speedrunner Guild
    1. No Chat
    2. No socialising
    3. No Events
    4. No GH

    Just a space to shout

    RND
    PLEDGE
    FARMING MEDUSA

And everyone piles in, If enough people signed up to it there would alway be a group

    Fake Roles welcome !

Just a heads up. The New "Drag the party behind the [snip] that wants to rush through the dungeon" System sucks. They glitch the quests when your trying to complete the quests. They limit your ability to ready lore. [snip]

[edited for baiting & profanity bypass]

The person speed running the dungeon isn't an [explicit], they just have a different perrogative than you. You need to accept that people who random que or que for a specific dungeon are looking to run it for one reason or another - either for the daily XP bonus, or they're farming. Its disrespectful to those who want to sit and take their time reading every lorebook and to crawl through the dungeon's quest, but at the end of the day, you need all 4 people to be on board with that approach or that isn't going to work either.

This is why, every time Zos releases a new dungeon, I wait to do it with my core group of friends first - because we do the dungeon on normal and we enjoy the story of it before we move on to trying to get the vet clear.

Yes, it sucks to be in your position, but it ALSO sucks to be that guy with an XP scroll burning and your just trying to finish the dungeon before your scroll runs out too.

Bottom line: if you want to complete the dungeon quest and enjoy the story, find some like-minded friends who want the same.

Why doesn't the guy with the XP scroll have to find a group of 4 to queue with? Why isn't the bottom line that if you want to skip all the content, you should find like minded friends who want the same?

It seems like a bit of a double standard.
