Switch Mementos to the Emote wheel please.

This has probably been discussed in the past, but is there any reason why mementos slot to the quick slot wheel instead of the emote wheel? I feel like it would make more sense to have them on the latter and then free up a slot or two for other foods/pots on the quick slot wheel. Thoughts?

Console players have an emote wheel, accessible in roughly the same way the quick slot wheel is.

Actually, I enjoy having the Mementos on Quick Access instead of the Emote Wheel. It makes a lot more options for goofing around with friends, or expanding your repertoire of RP abilities (which is already very difficult on console). As it is, I'm constantly changing in and out RP emotes and mementos with useful abilities when I go back into the fray but it would be worse if they were all stacked on the emote wheel.
I also know that my reality is very far removed from any semblance of a normal player, just wanted to throw a 2 copper perspective into the urban reality of the console meta.

It would be nice, because I rarely have space to bother with slotting any. Multiple foods, potions, banker, merchant, companions, scrying eye; there's no room for mementos. I barely use the emote wheel.

This is what I mean..my quickslot is potions, foods, scrying eye, both companions, banker, merchant, sometimes an XP scroll. Mementos are just glorified emotes anyway, I'd at least like the option to slot them on that wheel instead or as well.

They really should just double the size of the emote wheel if they move mementos there. Maybe implement the same type of wheel that Fallout 76 has.

I use almexias lantern on my quickslot as a light in dark delves. It wouldn't be as convenient if I had to keep going to my emote wheel to use it

It would be a nice QoL change if Mementos had the option to be placed in either the emote or the quick slot wheel.

Is there any kind of shortcut for emotes on non-controller PC? Or is it just typing /slash commands into chat like I've been doing?

Some mementos should definitely be converted to emotes. Like "kick ball" for example. It is a Memento for some reason:

I feel like the whole wheel thing needs to be updated somehow (maybe the Armory will help with this actually) as I never have enough space for all assistants, the antiquities thing, and potions to even fit food let alone emotes.

It would be nice if we could activate emotes by typing as well. I might actually use them sometimes, then.

For PC players wanting an emote wheel there are several addons which can do it. Lovely Emotes is probably one of the most popular but there are others.

In general I agree that it would make sense to group mementos with emotes, they're quite similar except that mementos always involve items and emotes only sometimes do. But I wouldn't want to change it unless there's a way to shortcut emotes/mementos on all platforms, without having to resort to addons.

It would be good to add the emote wheel for everyone, and then allow mementos to be added to either that or the quickslots.
