    I would honestly like more if they would focus on fixing bugs for a year instead of adding new content.

    Speaking from a PvP perspective, I wouldn't mind seeing a new weapon/skill line. But a new class...no, not really. Any new class would quickly become P2W like Warden and Necro were (and, arguably, still are).

    Still waiting for a Tongue class.
    Class skills are one word shouts or alteration based spells to buff armor and gain major evasion etc.
    One class skill line, purely focused on shouts. All the skills are just first words of various shouts, like Fus to immobilize, dismay shout to fear. Marked for death to decrease enemy armor. Fury to buff light/heavy attack speed or increase recoveries of yourself and allies, soul tear as main class spam maybe.
    And as ulti, 2 words of storm call to unleash Zeus around you.
    Or maybe 3 words of a lesser shout as ulti, call dragon maybe like Necro flesh golem ulti a dragon does a drive by shooting.

    A Battlemage is nothing else than a Mage in a military unit using offensive or defensive forms of magic. As such there would be large overlaps with Sorc (especially Conjurer), DK and Templar. I doubt that you would find enought to set it appart far enought from these classes to count it as a class.

    The developers have already gone on record that making a new class is a ton more work than just adding abilities in.

    They also went on record saying that there will be NO NEW CLASSES OR ADDITIONAL CHARACTER SLOT, at least until both combat and performance issues are addressed.

    These were your same responses to the thread where people were asking for the option to toggle veteran mode for overland content. While I respect your right to an opinion, I think for a constructive conversation you either need to explain WHY you think it would be too hard (because it isn't), or at least take the time to post a link to the devs saying this.

    Games need to continually add new mechanics in order to avoid stagnation. I think just saying "nope too hard" and "devs said no" on a thread without qualifying it and without source links just derails the conversation and puts people discussing ideas on the defensive.

    Personally I would like to see an alteration class. Specifically, one tree would focus on conjured weapons with unique abilities and earth/wind/water type abilities, one would focus on shape shifting with unique abilities (toggles) with a form for pure healing and one for heal/tanking, and one would focus on tanking with a couple forms, one for pure damage mitigation tanking and one for damage plus tanking.

    The Battlemage archetype seems better addressed by a new weapon type rather than a whole class. (Rune, book, wand, orb, etc.) I agree new magicka weapon options are sorely needed.

    Dragoknight already features a lot of Alteration based spells ranging from increased armor and manipulating earth all the way down to stunning and immobilizing foes. Doubt the devs would give us the cooler alteration spells like levitation, feather, water walking, etc.

    I'm still waiting for my hand to hand skill line. Till then I think we are good with the classes.

    Bard leaves me cold, I'd take it over no new class but I think there are more exciting options. Articifer/dwarf/clockwork tech is more fun, monk style class is more fun. I think more magicka weapon types including throwing weapons and melee magicka weapons would add flavor.

    Please stop refusing to look up things that the developers have explicitly addressed, been referenced by other people here, and then posting as if we have no reason to state such.

    Both Warden and Necromancer classes were already in the game long before they were announced. This is clearly reflected in the wealth of in game enemies that actually used the attacks that would form their core abilities since launch.

    Any new class would need to be developed from the ground up. Battlemages are an amalgamation of magic and stam weapons but those in game have no unique skills and the interchangeability of weapons for builds has become more prevalent with hybridization.

    With the fact that a new class would have to be developed from the ground up, prioritization given to fixing combat and performance, and the staff still working remotely you aren’t getting a class any time in the remote future.

    Then you're not either playing, or playing WITH, decent healers. Because a decent healer doesn't just heal, honestly, it's just unfortunate that they have that name so people assume healing is all they do.

    And bards would be even more useless than you seem to think healers are because they don't DO combat in TES. They play music and tell stories and gather history.

    Even if they could be a class, I couldn't think of anything worse than adding a cacophony of "musical" sound on top of all the other stuff going on in combat. Or shouts, if people seem to think that everyone should also be able to be the Dragonborn, even though that has a specific place in TES lore.

    I'd totally be down to see new stuff. Would be cool to have some way to cast and magic light attack without a weapon visible. Spells from hands kinda stuff.

    Alteration staff.
    Bo staff (or any magic based melee)
    + a ranged stamina weapon (so tired of Bow by now)
