Has anyone else noticed a delay in skill use when weapon is sheathed?

    I don't think that this can be canceled, but I did used to find myself constantly doing two weapon swaps right after doing anything that put my weapon away. That key ended up being the easiest for me to hit.

    This change is so bad, there is not a single day of playing ESO where I am not annoyed by this new behavior in some way.

    An especially extreme example: I have a stealth-based ressource gatherer (Magblade with almost speed cap in stealth - almost, because some of the speed buffs in stealth seem to be bugged, which is another thing...), it's weapon draw, weapon sheath all the time, so annoying. You need to sheath the weapon to collect a ressource, but you need to draw your weapon to cast cloak. I am weapon drawing and sheathing all the time! It doesn't feel like that is intended.

    I believe the reason your character draws weapons before cloak (on nightblade at least) is that it is intended to be used to get into position for an attack and the guaranteed critical strike that comes with it. It has always been this way, though.

    The slowly drawing weapons while using skills is new. It has not been acknowledged as being intended or not yet.

    I believe the reason your character draws weapons before cloak (on nightblade at least) is that it is intended to be used to get into position for an attack and the guaranteed critical strike that comes with it. It has always been this way, though.
    Every skill needs a drawn weapon, that isn't the issue. The issue is that drawing that weapon got so slow, that is became really, really annoying. If you run a stealth build this gets very visible ;).

In addition, in PVE and PVP the skill that you press when you sit on a mount to 80% is not triggered. Only the mount disappears and the character stands stupidly there. And as always deep silence from side Zeni since Sep 2021!

    I just want to add the opposite situation and in combination with the "in combat bug" which I have a lot of times as an toogle over long time.
    You want to mount - but you are in combat.
    As soon as combat is over - you try to mount, but the char needs 2 seconds to put the weapon away and your are already in combat again. Ok - now you have to cast major exp. skill to get some speed - but the weapon needs 2 seconds. You run for a while until combat is over and the story begins again...

    ZOS has no clue how annoying this "bug" or their "feature" is in cyro.

    With Night’s Silence being broken for 4 months, I haven’t been doing any stealth since then.

    I probably have my weapons drawn then anyway, though.

    PTS patch notes don't hint at a fix for this problem.

    (My suspicion is that ZOS feels that this is the way it should be and is never going to fix it.)

    Great idea, when you get hit with a firepot ballista in Cyro you should have to slowly and stylishly draw your weapons before proceeding to heal yourself, then promptly die.

    A workaround I've found is to tap the block button. This instantly equips your weapon. I don't know if it breaks stealth. I've been trying to make this a habit any time I zone or interact with something.

    Swapping bars (still) pulls out the weapon immediately. Until they "fix" that, you can do a swap and immediately attack.

    If you have a bow it takes twice as long as it animated both bow and arrow 1 at a time being pulled. Lol. Guess block cancelling makes sense.
