I play almost every day, typically on the same character, and since the update yesterday it feels like something is slightly off with skill usage.
What I mean specifically is that there seems to be a 1-2 second delay from activating a skill and the skill registering in game. This happens if your weapon is sheathed. Maybe I'm crazy and this was always happening, but it definitely feels noticeably different to me.

Cancel the animation by tapping block (not hold it, just a quick tap or right click).
Since waking flame. Sometimes it's normal again and then out of nowhere like when I'm doing vMA, light attacks aren't going off, skills start to delay or don't cast and then it just feels like I'm playing POE when /oos was still a thing.
I was wondering if it was time to get a new controller. Every time I try to use my mount, I get to look at the map since the button press for mount timing is different. I'm on Xbox.
Yep, if you try to use a skill without doing a light attack to draw your weapon, most of the time your skill won't go off. It'll just unsheathe your weapon but not use the skill. I've also noticed how you have to draw your weapon before you can use the BoW. It 100% makes things feel clunky and unresponsive and breaks up the flow of gameplay, especially when you're doing a lot of stealing/killing for Justice stuff. It started after Waking Flame update. Animations for sheathe/unsheathe weapons now take very long... It's extremely annoying, like a slow motion.
When starting combat, you have to wait approximately a second so that your character has to perform animation of preparing their weapons, and only then the character can cast skills/other abilities. In IC during the event, it made for extremely unpleasant experience, when I was unable to defend myself during that very long second.
Before using Blade of Woe, you have to wait a second so that your character prepares their weapons as well.
Hopefully, this is not intended and will be fixed.
I edited the auto-sheath addon so it's never sheathed unless I crouch. It's quite simple you just remove all checks inside the if.
The only down side is that when I interact with objects in real world that triggers walking, such as putting writ gears, it'd draw the weapon and then sheath it immediately to interact.
Oh yes! This one has def noticed how very sluggish is assassination skill now. From the time the button is pressed it is like going into kill cam mode.
Also, survey collection is extremely slow and this one has to be very, very careful or the 'E' greys out and a thing must die before collection can be continued.
Strange days indeed.
