Why is ESO letting 30-40% of their players cheat?

I have very rarely experienced the alleged 4 hits in 1 second thing but I just think it's a server desync issue or something like that. Which have been common in places like Cyrodiil in the past.

I won't even bother recording anything because I just bear the toxic PVP environment for the daily XP, AP and such.

There are no cheaters, zos just needs to fix the damn servers.The performance is terrible.

Don't worry, there are a lot of players like me, who, every time they die for a reason that is not immediately obvious, will spend a good minute checking 50 lines of combat logs representing every instance of damage and debuff received in the last 5 seconds before death.

I know one of the best nb in the game and he routinely gets accused of cheating. When you are extremely skilled with animation cancelling your combos, low skill players think you are cheating.

I'm not sure the point you are trying to make. No one said there are zero cheaters in games, THAT would be an equally ridiculous statement as the 30-40%.

I play the game for years and mainly pvp, cyro, bgs and ic.
In all those years I never seen a blatant cheat or hack ever used.
For example in Gw2 it's full of "noclip" cheaters, the cheat that makes you fly in any direction ignoring obstacles at insane speed.

I think in this game the main issue is server/client desync which causes all the troubles you are experiencing.
The second main issue is exploit, which is not considered a cheat or hack because you use ingame features and bugs to make it happen.

Nowadays there are few exploit that people are using sometimes involuntarily, other times on purpose, one is elemental weapon with overload has a really high chance to desync your opponent health bar, and the more he get desynced, his heals start not to register on his hitbox even if he sees the combat text numbers. This problem is also caused by Snipe, the bow skill.

The worst of all is the dizzy bug spam exploit, I have no idea how to pull it off, but even you for sure have faced at least a stamden or stamcro using it. You find them in a 1vs1, they don't heal themselves at all, just cast blastbone/sub assault and then start dizzy nonstop onto you, they will take no damage at all and you cannot outheal that dizzy spam no matter what you do, and they just take you down after 10-15 dizzys. That will have something similar to overload desyncs, and your heals stop registering on your hitbox.
And don't say it's a l2p, because i also do lots and lots of duels and i killed a lot of really good stamcros and stamdens and this thing never happened with them,i can roll and block theirs dizzys like any other skill, but those guys who exploit it, block doesn't work, roll dodge either, you get hit in the middle of it.

Also another "cheat" that i can think of is that warn you of incoming attacks. On pc eu 80% of players runs it, people who roll dodge my bow proc of stamblade from stealth even before seeing me for the first time. Its miat alerts new version and can't be found on minion.
Another "cheat" is the one that makes you land always a medium attack between all the skills you cast, adding insane amount of burst with just few skills casted and this sees a lot of use from the dizzy exploit spammers.

All being said, things like casting 7 skills at once are not possible due to gcd like people already said, and it's just trash server/client performance.

I got 10+ skills on me.

Ran into 2 teams fighting each other, CC'ed, flash everywhere, break free didn't work. A few seconds later I was dead. Some did 20k damage, some 10k, some 5k, ... The damages of each abilities are well within normal amount, except I had no idea what happened or why I was frozen there.

Ran into the same guys again and no problem.


It's not the first time. If there were any cheaters my groups couldn't possibly win, but they did.
