Is HP Pavilion Gaming 16 Laptop good enough to run eso in high settings

Hello everyone.
i consider getting a new laptop, i dont really play a lot games on pc and "The Elder Scrolls Online" is probally going to be the most demanding game im going to play
so i dont want to spend a lot of $$$ on a new pc.
i prefer laptop over desktop.
i found a laptop that seems to answer my needs the "HP Pavilion Gaming 16"
im sure the laptop is good enough to run the elder scrolls online on lowest settings, but im not sure if its good enough to run in high settings, doesnt have to be the best settings but i dont want to play on the lowest settings.
The specs are :
Processor - Intel® Core™ i5-10300H Quad Core Processor, 8M Cache, 2.50 GHz up to 4.50 GHz
Memory - 8GB DDR4-2933 SDRAM (2 x 4GB)
Hard Drive - 512GB M.2 SSD PCIe NVMe
Graphics - NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1650, with 4GB GDDR6 VRAM

A little disclaimer ahead of time: I have no direct personal experience with these exact components *or* the laptop. I do have a fair amount of knowledge on PC specs in general, so I'll be giving you my thoughts based on that.
Looking at the minimum-specs required stated on steam, this specific laptop should be able to run the game reasonably well.
Though this game is nót extremely well optimized, so in all likelyhood you're not going to get a steady 60 frames per second on high with that laptop, seeing as the GPU is not very powerful.
Keep in mind the RAM is also only 8GB, which is very little if you're planning to use it with Windows 10 (Windows 10 uses quiiite a bit of RAM).
All in all, again keep in mind I have no real-world experience with the device so dont take this as perfect advice, I wouldn't recommend this device if you want a performant high-settings experience.
One final note I'll leave you with: Gaming laptops are véry expensive, especially good (futureproof) ones.0 -
theCampeR_✭✭✭upgrade the ram to 16 GB and you're golden for a few years. It's not a high end laptop, but It's a good one. Since you specifically mentioned that you prefer a laptop over a desktop, I'd say go for it.0 -

✭Disk is a bit small, memory definitely wants increasing. I would also check HP has it certified for Windows 11, so you don't risk ending up with an expensive doorstop in future.
